FahrenheatCeiling-Mount 5000 Watt Electric Heater, Model# FUH5-4

This heated my garage workshop from 42 degrees to 71 degrees in 30 min. My garage is 500 square feet. It was easy to install and wire up. I'm very happy with this. It sure beats using the propane heater that I had been using. I would have to open the garage door from time to time to let fresh air in then it would be cold again. The only issue I had with this heater is when I first fired it up it smelled really bad. Once that burned off of the element there was no more smell. This thing is great!

Very reliable

The unit has a feature that prevents the fan from functioning in a heating mode until the ambient temperate is 50 degrees. I bought tthe unit to heat my basement work area, which is, when cold, around 38 degrees. The unit will not throw continuous heat until the room is warmed up to that temperature. Which doesn't happen. So it will not heat up a cold work area. USELESS!

This heater works great! With 28 degree nights it keeps my 1152 sq ft garage easily at 70 with the units thermostat set mid range. It is quite and I have no complaints, would be nice to have a remote.
