While these look the same as the original remotes we got for DirectTV non-main units, they DO NOT PROGRAM correctly. We were replacing the original remotes because the rubberized keys and the micro-switches under them weren't responding as well as they did originally, but following the instructions for programming the remotes for Vizio TV's using the codes provided with the remotes doesn't work. Beyond that, the software on the TV's doesn't respond in the manner suggested by the remotes' directions. We ended up with a DO-LOOP of repeated failures and on-screen instructions skipping ahead from where we needed to go. The TV's did not subsequently respond to the remote key functions.NOTE: Can be made functional, but requires deviation from the instructions that come with the remotes.
