These are coolest thing ever! Everybody that has seen it wants one. No need to recharge it, as other brands require. A little tricky to find the balance point at first, but gets easier after doing it a few times. Just find the point where it lights up when your holding it over the base, and you'll find the balance point. I love it! Now they just have to make one of the Earth that's as cool looking, and I'll buy that one too!

Hard to set up at first but you eventually get the knack. I was gonna send back it was so tough to levitate at first - glad I didn’t. It’s a real talking point when ppl see it. Hope it lasts. Warranty is a joke at just 1 month - otherwise 5 stars.

(Adding to my previous review)Loads of fun, a very cool item. I give it 4 stars out of five because I had to open up the base and re-seat/glue the power button board, but not a big deal.It's pretty expensive for what it is, but the detail is phenomenal and overall it is very nicely made. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have some kind of a dimmer or different colored LED options inside, but that would be a luxury add-on...After about 2 years the machinery inside started buzzing and rattling after a few minutes, causing the globe to fall on the base. I'm about to take it apart, but for something of this price, mechanical quality should be better.

Almost impossible to get balanced and if you lose power, forget it, it slams back into the base. After a couple times slamming into the base, something seems to get dislodged and it won't balance again for love or money. Way too expensive for what it is. On/off switch never worked, vendor should be ashamed.

Worked great for 1 month before it suddenly stopped working. No longer levitates. Way too pricey to only last a month. UPDATE: I got it working again by using the wooden piece that came with it to get it levitating again.

What fun this lamp is! Looks great at night. One of my favorite purchases on Amazon.Takes some patience getting used to balancing it properly. Once you get the hang of it, it's great!Well worth the investment. Perfect gift for any moon admirer. Thanks so much!!!
