STAEDTLERMars Micro Color 25405-5 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil Lead - Green (Pack of 12 Tubes - 144 Leads)

I love them, easy to manage with pressure as usual and I can erase it normally like any other pencil! I don't know why some other customers have so many breakage problems with it, maybe I can use them very easily because I've used Staedtler stationary since my first primary school art lessons when I was in Italy.I still feel it like the first time I used them and I've never got disappointed!I'm probably going to order more in a near future!!

Purchased with the intention of using for construction lines, using the Pentel P205 pencil and is a great match. It erases easily and applies brilliantly.

Great for base sketches. I do tend to snap them a more than my normal mechanical pencil leads but not sure if that's just me being heavy-handed.

These have a great color and are great for sketching. They don't rub out as easy as grey lead but still not bad.The only big problem is that they break very easy. Considering the amount you get for the price (which is not cheap) it becomes VERY frustrating. So basically draw very lightly and dont angle your pencil.

It took me three attempts (and three broken leads) to insert into a pencil - since the leads kept bending and breaking. When using, these leads break incredibly easily; even with a very short amount being used, and spend more time snapping all over my page than actually being usable. The colour of the lads when being used is very light, yet any pressure at all means the leads will break (again!). I would have expected far better from Staedtler, but this is by far one of their worst products. Avoid if you do not want unnecessary frustration when drawing :)

They're very, very, very delicate. Hope you have a soft touch.

Great lead if a little easy to break but go lightly and it works fantastically
