I needed (badly) to replace my padded drying mat. While it served its purpose nobly over the past years, it would no longer launder to my satisfaction, plus I wanted something larger. Well, if LARGE is what you need/want, this is the mat for you! Huge, actually! I appreciate that I can do my dishes, place them on this mat and not have to dry in between..they all fit! One thing I do miss is how my previous padded mat would absorb moisture. Naturally, this being silicone, it doesn't absorb anything, but it does have raised ridges so that the clean dishes aren't really sitting in a puddle of water. After you put your (somewhat) dry dishes away, it's necessary to lift this mat and pour off the remaining water. I can either dry it the rest of the way with a dish towel, or just let it sit on the counter overnight and it is dry the next morning. Another feature that I appreciate is that it can fold or roll up for storage. This is a really nice, big, heavy, quality mat. RECOMMEND.

This one is big, takes up most of my countertop but I like that I have space for pots and pans. If you need space you can easily flap it over. I think it’s durable and easy to clean. I’mHappy that I tossed the other padded one out. They get smelly and can harbor mold, which these won’t. I find that my dishes dry faster. Maybe because the mat doesn’t doesn’t have a pad that’s soaking up the water. I’m happy with it.

Honestly I was looking for a drying mat that would not get musty after a few months. I have a wire drying rack and I just set it on top of this mat and it works great. Just a note, depending on your water it may stain a little, my water is well water so there a few mineral stains.

I really like this drying mat it’s exactly what I was looking for except that it doesn’t have the drain for the water to drain in the sink. If it had that it would be perfect. It fits the space I have and is true to size. Quick shipping too!

The pad is nice and thick with ridges for dishes to dry on. The larger size is preferable as it reaches the sink so there's. no gap for water to collect on the sides.

This is perfect for our peninsula in the kitchen. We have three kids with bottles and sippy cups with all the parts and pieces. We have two boon grass sections, a drying rack and still have room for drying dishes. This is a must have for new parents with little kids. Makes cleaning a snap

I absolutely love how big this is. The unfortunate part is that the grooves and lip are so small that before I am done doing dishes I have to use towel to absorb the water or it pour right off.
