Remarkable for an Aftermarket Accessory
Reason for purchase: I own the Remarkable 2 gray sleeve cover with stylus holder but wanted something closer to a portfolio with a sturdy stylus holder.Good:• Functionality: this cover does what it says it will do. The Remarkable 2 tablet does sit well in a case that rotates 360° and can stand the tablet in many different positions and angles like in the product pictures.• Features: the case has a protected place for the stylus and that allows the stylus to magnetically attach to the tablet. The flap of the case does completely cover the tablet and would protect it well in a briefcase or a pocket in a backpack.• Quality: the case feels sturdy and soft for synthetic material. The dimensions of the plastic tablet frame that hold the tablet are tight and made to fit the Remarkable 2 tablet well. The case interior material seems durable enough to protect the tablet screen from lighter pressures that could scratch or crack the display. Aesthetically the cover is professionally pleasing in black and you would not be ashamed to take it into a meeting. When propping the tablet up in the various postures, the cover feels strong enough to bare the weight of your writing hand.Value: the price at time of purchase was $23.99. This seems reasonable for what you receive and is cheaper and more functional than Remarkable proprietary covers. This price closes in on the top of the value scale as the higher the price, the closer you get to a leather cover.Bad:• The directions it comes with are simple and abstract in educating the user how to manipulate the cover to obtain the different standing features. It is sort of learning how to manipulate a puzzle but within a few minutes you will start to figure out how to get the tablet in the position you desire.

The best
This is by far the best reMarkable case I've seen (and had) so far. I have another case that also allows the tablet to prop up and turn 360 degrees; but the thing that makes this better is the pen holder. Other cases will either have no holder, or holders that hang awkwardly on the side or in the back of the case. This particular case utilizes the side magnet on the reMarkable to help hold the pen safely in place when the cover is closed. This makes the pen really easy to store and put away, and gives me a tablet that is also easier to hold and store. The case flips open from the top instead of the side, but overall it was an easy adjustment for me. I use my tablet in portrait rather than landscape mode, so it's much easier to flip the top up to prop up the tablet. For cases that open from the left side, you constantly have to turn the tablet 90 degrees in order to prop it up. This particular case makes opening, closing (alongside of the storing) much less cumbersome. There's only a couple of things I would wish for this case - the first is that I wish there were more color or design options than just black or grey. The second is that I wish the black case that I have were a little easier to clean.Other than this, if you are looking for a good case, and a cheaper alternative to the overly expensive ones sold by reMarkable, I would highly recommend checking this one out.

Good, but some false advertising
The good: this is way better than the folios sold by remarkable. I especially enjoy having the stylus secured away instead of hanging in to dear life on the edge, where it frequently gets knocked off. This is a much cheaper option for better functionality. The bad: As of this review, the description says the cover will auto wake and auto sleep by opening and closing the cover, similar to most tablet covers. Which would be awesome! But auto wake/sleep just isn't a real thing with remarkable 2, as this product claims. The folios from remarkable doesn't offer this either. Remarkable2 just doesn't have this capability apparently, and it's disappointing that they would lie about it. I would've given it 5 stars without this bit of false advertising.Bottom line: better than Remarkable2 folios for much less money. But don't expect an auto wake/sleep.

Thin cover protects tablet, provides multiple viewing angles - Great pen access
Well-made, good-looking cover is lightweight and protects the tablet from day-to-day scratches and damage. The design looks strong and made to last. The innovative design provides thoughtful features such as a cutout for the charging port which allows you to charge the tablet even when the cover is closed. And precise placement of the pen which allow easy access when needed and secure storage when your work is done.I really like the adjustable angles provided by the cover, which makes using the tablet very convenient and comfortable no matter what the task. From writing a complex business proposal to providing a detailed instructional drawing. You can find a comfortable position. This is a well-made, economical product that will protect your investment while making it easier to use. This cover is very easy to recommend.

Very Convenient
I find this case very useful. There are two angles, one for writing and one for reading. They are both very comfortable. The cover provides good protection. The value for money is also very good. My only criticism is the weight - a bit heavy especially considering the light weight of the reMarkable itself.

Durable Case, Resists Scratches
It’s a great case when in portrait mode. Not so sturdy when using in landscape. I have scratched it by accident and with just general use, haven’t seen anything major get to the internal Remarkable yet.
