Black Ultramarine Frost is actually the perfect dark navy blue. It does have a little shimmer to it, where as the black ultramarine does not have the shimmer and it is also a beautiful deep navy blue. You can easily put layers on. It stays on all day and has not been flaky. It also comes off very easily with soap and water. What more could you want?

Love, love, love the blue-black color. I have hazel eyes, am in my 70's and don't wear black mascara any more doe to harsh look. This black was softened enough with the deep blue so it isn't harsh. I do feel the "clean" aspects of this mascara make my eyes more comfortable feeling. Easy to remove at night, but doesn't smudge due to eye moisturizer. I am a convert from decades of Avon LashBlast use. My own negative, and it might only be me since I don't experiment with new products very frequently, was that the brush was hard to get used to. And when new bottle, huge glops of mascara are on the brush.

I am sensitive to mascara and have a hard time finding ones that do not irritate my eyes, but I can use this one. Gets a little clumpy but not enough that I can’t deal with it.

I like it a lot. It is easy to remove but stays on really well until ready to remove it. Natural looking lashes without clumping, lengthening and enhancing lashes without looking too made up. Truly!

I’ve been searching for a clean brown mascara that performs well without the high price tag, so I wanted to love this one. Overall, it’s decent and has some positives, mainly the brush does a great job separating my lashes; I don’t need to comb through them after applying. However, the applicator itself pulls out very clumpy, and you have to be careful not to transfer a blob of mascara onto your skin while applying. I thought it was just new-product excess at first, but even after a month of use, it still comes out with a thick clump on the tip (see photo). I also have long lashes, and unfortunately this transfers under my eyes throughout the day. I’ve had this issue with other non-waterproof clean mascaras, but I was hopeful this would be different. Because of the smudging and clumping, it’s not quite the everyday mascara I was hoping for.

This is the best mascara I have ever worn. Ever since I got lasik my eyes have been super sensitive to any eye make up, especially mascara. I have been able to wear this without any issue all day. My eyes don't itch or water, and you hardly it feel it on! And the best part, IT IS ABSOLUTELY WATERPROOF. I had a funeral to go to, and I cried... like ugly cried numerous times and I never once looked like a racoon. This picture is of my eyes after the funeral, still looking great!

I'm tossing this one and I've barely used it. I've been wearing waterproof mascara for decades, most frequently from Cover Girl and Maybelline (which are generally far better than high-end brands). This one isn't ideal. It goes on thick and gloppy. Worst of all, I've ended up with flakes in my eyes, which I've never experienced before with waterproof mascara, since it generally holds together much better than water-based mascara. I've had to completely re-do all my eye make-up in one eye TWICE after flushing my eye for 10 min to get flakes out. UGH!! This mascara also tends to straighten my eyelashes and give me the spidery look. The only upside (depending on your perspective), is that this mascara is VERY hard to get off, even with an oil-based remover that I've been using for many years. I'll stick with waterproof versions of Full 'N Soft, Lash Discovery or Colossal Curl Bounce, all of which I've worn for years and highly recommend.

I’m absolutely loving the Covergirl Lash Blast Cleantopia Mascara! It gives me a lot of volume without the clumps, and it’s fairly smudge and flake-proof. I’ve worn it all day without worry, even in the heat. The Hourglass Lush Brush really helps to give my lashes much needed volume. It lasts up to 24 hours, so I don’t have to worry about touching it up. It says it's Ophthalmologically tested, which makes it perfect for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. I had no issues with it at all, which is wonderful. It says it is infused with Aloe Leaf extract, Ceramide, and sustainably-sourced Rainforest Maracuja Oil. I really like this mascara and I appreciate how it's more natural too.
