I bought this hoping I could just stand it up on a dorm room desk to use as a hutch (we can't put holes in the walls). Unfortunately, it is impossible to be a freestanding unit without some modifications. My husband said he just needs to attach wires or some thin rods in an X shape in the back, and the shelves will stay standing on their own. So we're keeping them and will try that. If that doesn't work, I like them enough to put them somewhere on a wall in our house, because they do look really nice! I got the rustic dark brown shelves. The set comes with 5 wood shelves (which have grooves for the frames) and 4 metal frame pieces.

Small packages. Easy to unpack. Straight forward install. Did it by myself. I really like them for display that doesn't carry alot of weight. I feel like they can anchor any space.

Fairly easy to install, but looks a little cheap and is just a little too small to fit standard size things. If you position the shelves as pictured in the second to last photo, you CANNOT fit two stacked toilet paper rolls, not even close. So that’s a false representation. Idk I’ll keep it but I probably won’t take it with me when my lease ends.

The media could not be loaded.  I recommend not to use the wall anchors for drywall. Just drill the screw direct to your dry wall. Mine works great just for light knick knacks

Loving it so far. It was a little bit harder to put up with just one person but I got it done!
