Flexible vinyl coated wire/cable looks classy
I got his vinyl-coated black wire/cable to hang the patio lights on the back porch. My wife thinks the patio will look snazzier with the lights, and I think the lights will look classier with the black cable to hang them from. The vinyl coating is soft and shiny and reasonably flexible. According to my digital caliper, the cable diameter is indeed 1/16” and the overall diameter 3/32” as specified in the description. I did not break-test the supposed 480 lb cable, but I did find it hard to cut the cable with some sharp diagonal cutters – I would not be surprised to see that full 480lb rating. I think it is well worth the price.When using for hanging, do keep in mind that vinyl coating is somewhat slippery against itself. So be sure to properly crimp the cable securely.

Great for using as a hing wire for multiple use and great for fence repairs must also have a crimping tool
