18" Long Cast Scratcher, Cleaner/Sanitizer and Hook for itching and Cleansing cast Covered arms and Legs (White)

I’m currently suffering with a broken leg and a hard cast that comes almost to my knee so you can imagine how bad it is if I get an itch on said leg! I ordered this a couple days ago because I had an itch on the bottom of my leg that I literally couldn’t get to with anything around this house. I was afraid to use something harsh but I tried everything! I literally just received these in the mail about 20 minutes ago and I’m already doing this review because I want everyone to know if you or a loved one has a cast PLEASE order these!! They scratch perfectly and without harming sensitive skin! I wish I could give them a million starts to be honest because I definitely would! They’re very sturdy and bend nicely to get in the curves of a cast. I have to thank the creators!!

This product is amazing! Definitely works, and worth the money. I woke up at 2:30am with a crazy itch I could not scratch. It drove me nuts, and drove me to search for such a product. Searched “cast scratcher” and this product came up. I was somewhat skeptical about it. But after it arrived and tested it out. It really is one of the best purchases I have made.Nearly impossible to break. Comes with 2 sticks, one with a hook to get any possible debris out. One with 2 different size heads. The little bumps that act as the scratching surface is almost braille like. I got this tool pre operation. So I will need to be careful post operation, for the stitches. Other than that, I know I will be using this often, especially during the hot and dry summer. If you have an injury that requires a cast. Do yourself a favor and purchase this. You won’t regret it.

My son broke his hand. He has sensory issues, and being in a cast is like torture to him. This was gentle enough not to injure, but rough enough to cure that horrid itch that you can't reach in the cast. Without this, I think he would have been in a constant meltdown for 2 months. I don't have to worry about him putting things in his cast that can injury him or break.

the big pad with the bumps is a fantastic tool to scratch in your cast however keep in mind with like splints - this may remove and replace the gauze inside leading to more discomfort.With that out of the way - it is extremely satisfying. I got too excited and ripped up all the gauze under my splint.

So helpful to have and to have a variety of styles for scratching.

Our son had a full leg cast and these two scratchers were a life saver!!! He is four and would get easily frustrated but with these he could use them himself to scratch safely!

Just what I needed

Too flimsy! Don’t waste your money

Broke my ankle, lower leg enclosed in fiberglass. Made me claustrophobic and panicky. Just knowing I had something about that could scratch the itches under the cast allowed me to relax. I had been told I was absolutely not to put anything down the cast, but come on, it’s torture. These brilliant tools are long enough that they won’t fall into the cast, and smooth enough to soothe an itch without damaging skin. Just be gentle. And ignore the instructions included on how to use a wet wipe to clean the leg inside the cast. Getting it wet inside is a seriously bad idea which fortunately I didn’t try.

Me compre esta varitas por que tenia que llevar escayola 6 semanas para poder aliviar los picores sin miedo hacer heridas que puedan ocasionar otros problemas.Le pongo dos estrellas por su elevado precio es muy caro para ser dos simples varitas de plástico con diferentes extremos y tiene unas ranuras que ayudan a colocar una toallita y facilita la limpieza por una amplia zona de la pierna en mi caso.Es recomendable si vas a tener mucho tiempo la escayola y sufres bastantes picores. Para poco tiempo no merece la pena por precio elevado y que una vez vuelves a la normalidad no sabes que hacer con ellos.
