I looked into several supplements but this one caught my eye because it has very clean ingredients. I care a lot about what goes into my body so buying this supplement was essential & value for my money. The taste is great, easy to chew, and I get my vitamin d.

I love these. Had been searching for a Vit D not in oil/with cholesterol. Have been using these for the last couple of years and have a subscription. Unfortunately last couple of bottles have been unflavored, which is slightly unpleasant. The vanilla was tasty! Unflavored is fine and is still effective.

I don't know much of the workings of Vitamin D, but so far so good. Purchased this as a replacement of an oral spray version of Vitamin D and seems to be efficient. I take many supplements daily because I'm vegan and I tried out the probiotics from this brand, so i thought I'd give the Vitamin D a try too, since i recently ran out and needed to restock. The packaging is slick and made of glass, so no plastic waste here. I like that they specify the product is vegan friendly, which is what i look for because many products will be confusing about that and write "veggie" capsules or vegetarian.. but is it vegan?? Thank you Ora for making my search a little bit easier.

So to start I'll say I'm 17 years post-bariatric and have very little small intestine left. I'm very anemic and am regularly checked by a hematologist for my vitamin and mineral levels. I have been fighting low iron for years and get iron infusions plus B12 injections to keep my levels up as much as possible. My doc has been requesting I take a Vit D supplement, but all the ones I'd found were oil based capsules - which I don't absorb. Also, thanks to a bout of skin cancer I don't go in the sun if I don't have to. These tabs are finally the first dry pills. I take one in the morning and one at night before bed. My last doc appt was 6 months after starting these tablets and my Vit D levels were higher than they'd been tracking for the last 7 years! I wasn't thinking they were doing anything. I know when I run out I feel run down and with my blood work back I see that they are helping tremendously. Highly recommend.

My latest bone density scan showed that my 56 year old bones had actually grown denser since my previous scan! The doctor wanted to know if I'd been doing anything in particular for my bones, and my reply was that I'd been taking Sol Food vitamin D3 every day for the past three years.

We’re very upset Ora Organic doesn’t carry a 5000 IU version, this 2000 IU showed absolutely no difference in neither of our Vitamin D lab results . We’ve been taking this for months. 2000 IU had zero effect, then we switched to 2 tabs and 4000 IU also made no difference. We’re on 3 tabs now and will have labs drawn next month. Hopefully this wasn’t a complete waste of money. We were really excited to find a certified organic, vegan, clean vitamin d brand with little ingredients. But even if 3 tabs daily finally increases our vitamin d levels, it is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to purchase 3 bottles per person for a 1 month supply each!
