Makes great coffee
Makes great coffee.I was finding it hard to choose a stove top coffee pot after reading mixed reviews about them all.Finally settled on this one at under £15.Turns out to be a bit of a bargain.I went for the six cup model.... which makes 2 normal size cups of coffee.Really easy to use. I’m getting great tasting strong coffee from cheap Lidl own brand decaf.I fill mine with boiling water rather than cold and it’s ready in minutes. Beware though the pot conducts heat verrrrrry fast and within seconds even before putting it on the hob it will burn you if you touch the water holder..No leaks yet and the pourer doesn’t spill.Easy to clean.For the money I think it is great value.

My previous coffee maker had reached the "end of the line", so to speak after some 15 years of daily faithful service.I wanted so much to by a similar product and found it here.The coffee maker is brilliant - as was my previous and now defunct one. It has been put to service already and is doing a grand job. Very glad I bought this one, plus tow for my good friends who, I know, will come to love this.The appearance and finish is most pleasing - no sharp edges or roughness! Excellent value for money, and, excellent producer of breakfast coffee! It gets your day off to a damn good start!

Love it
Absolutely love this cafetière is a bit fiddly on the stove you need to position it just right. Boils pretty quick too, so handy for storing away rather than a big coffee machine taking up Space on your counter.

The photos make this product seem like a very well-finished, smart looking stovetop. In actual fact the quality of this thing is pretty poor - its not paraphernalia that will wow your guests. It does the job however so is fine for the price.

Nice strong espresso
I was introduced to these devices during my recent visit to Italy and ordered one from Amazon whilst still there. It arrived the day after my return. It is a wonderful implement and makes wonderful, strong coffee. I am very happy with it and use it at least twice per week.
