I do love this robe! I purchased it in a Medium but wish I'd ordered small. I'm 5'4, 145lbs and it's a little droopy in the shoulders - regardless I still love it and after looking at it in the picture again, it seems to fit the model the same way.

The Lavenderi Women's Long Classic Kimono Bathrobe is a nice long, lightweight, satin finish wrap robe. It does not have a brushed lining and is not a heavyweight satin. I am petite and about 20 lbs overweight for my frame (5'2" 134 lbs). I was looking for a long satin robe with straight sleeves, not the wide, dangly sleeves you see on most kimono robes. Based on my weight, a medium was the advised size, but since this one fell well below the knee on the [probably much taller than me] model, I ordered a size small, in the hope that it wouldn't overwhelm me. (Why doesn't anyone on Amazon sell clothes in petite proportions?) On me, the small falls just barely a couple inches above my ankles (yay, a longish robe!). The sleeves fall an inch or so below my wrist, but still at least an inch above the base of my thumb, so this robe doesn't look too big. When my elbows are bent, the sleeves sit right to the wrist. This is the fit I was hoping for! The belt, at 76 inches, is plenty of length to tie a bow even around my expanded waistline. I was hoping this robe might have a brushed finish on the inside, but as you can see from my pic, it doesn't. However, it slides on easily over flannel pajamas. Pros: - Accurate color. - Quality stitching. - Soft and lightweight. - Washes well. - Belt loops are placed so that belt can be wrapped high for someone short-waisted like me or low for someone taller or longer waisted. - Long belt. Cons: - Not a lot of material to wrap in front. Granted, I bought a small instead of a medium, but on a short kimono robe I purchased from another Amazon vendor, there was plenty of wrap. - The inner ties you use to help keep a slippery satin robe closed are sewn at hip level (for me) as other reviewers have noted. This is probably the perfect location for a taller person. In spite of being at hip level, they are still long enough to tie. - Even after washing twice and wearing daily for nearly 5 months, the fold lines are still visible, although they are softening. - The teal is dark enough for no show-through before/after a shower, but the material is so thin that I don't think that would be the case with lighter colors. - Satin is satin, so don't let your pets sit in your lap while wearing it or you'll wind up with claw snags. Bottom line: Decent robe for the money.
