Beautiful Keyboard and mouse
This is the second set that I am using now. Bought it for the second workstation for my wife. Excellent product, looks great, works very well and lasts of the long time. The keys on some the other keyboards start to show signs of wear and tear after a couple of months. I have used this for a year now, about 8-10 hours/day and its still good. The keys are well laid out, easy for the fingers to find when typing and quite good for people with larger hands. The travel on the keys is optimal and responsive with the right damping to make them less noisy. All in all it feels like a premium product when using and looks great on the table, occupying minimal space with no wires. The mouse lacks some of the features of the Logitech mice, and does not fit as nicely as the surface mice for example. But for normal office use, its great. Beautifully simple and with the right features to be effective. It has a great rectangular design with a curved top to fit in the palm of your hand, which works well for my wife. I have XL hands and therefore it is a bit small and requires some getting used to.Overall, its a beautiful set, well made and feels excellent when in use. The battery lasts a fair while, but the duration will vary depending on how far the base unit is from the keyboard. For the price paid, I think this is a great product and strikes the right balance to be effective for any office use.

The product is very well made and great to type on
First of all, some of the reviews are correct that state that this product has a connection problem when the computer resumes from a sleep state the keyboard and mouse do not work, making it impossible to log back in. But with a bit of web search, I was able to find that this problem is with the way windows shuts off the Bluetooth for power saving. In the device manager selecting the Bluetooth hardware and going into properties and deselecting "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" will quickly solve this and will always work.I am giving the product 5 stars because the issue above is nothing to do with the keyboard. The product is very well made and great to type on. I was initially worried about how slim the product is as it does not have any means of raising the keyboard like you would on a normal one. However this is not an issue. I find typing very easy ans almost feels like an Apple keyboard. The mouse has a flat design, which for me took a while to get used to, but now find I have adapted well and enjoy using it.I would recommend this product if you are looking for that Apple design, but with Microsoft keyboard know how.

Great keyboard, although the mouse is a let down
I'll soon be moving from an Apple desktop to a Windows PC and whilst I already have a mouse I'm happy with, I was keen to find a sleek, minimalist keyboard to fit in to my setup. Since I begun using Apple's wireless keyboard a number of years ago, I was against having a number pad because of the increased keyboard width, but this is probably the smallest keyboard you can get that includes a number pad which is a pleasant surprise. It looks great with a nice simplistic design, and with Bluetooth connectivity it means no adapter needs to be plugged in to your PC (unless your PC doesn't have Bluetooth!). Typing feels great, with keys that have decent travel and don't make too much noise; and I'm pleased with the row of function keys, including volume and media playback. It may be worth confirming that the keyboard does indeed have a caps lock light, as well as an fn light (so you can use it as if it were a shift key to use the media controls, or use it like a caps lock key to toggle between the ordinary f buttons and the functions/media buttons). Another small yet huge design advantage is that the battery covers are magnetic, which makes it extremely easy to access the batteries.Unfortunately however, Microsoft doesn't sell the Designer Keyboard as an individual product (though you can buy the Designer Mouse on its own), which meant I was forced to buy both the mouse alongside it. Whilst it's well built and feels solid, just as the keyboard does, I personally find the design unergonomic which is partly down to it being quite flat. If you like Apple's Magic Mouse then you'll probably like it, but sadly it's just not for me.Ultimately I'm very happy with the keyboard it's definitely worth the premium price, although I won't be using the mouse and I do wish Microsoft sold the keyboard on its own.

It's a really nice keyboard - the keys have the perfect amount of push before a subtle click as they are pressed. I am a computer programmer so I type all day, and this just feels really nice. The keyboard itself is extremely compact, and is made out of what I can only describe as a kind of slick hard rubber. There is this hard rubber base maybe 6mm thick, with zero flex, and chiclet keys embedded in it. the whole thing seems very slick and classy, with no flex at all. the mouse is ok, looks nice but is a bit light and plasticky. you're paying for the keyboard, basically. I was hoping for a US keyboard, as pictured, but it is a UK layout. For a UK layout it's one of the better ones, quite compact. No problems pairing with a surface pro 4, and I have not experienced the problems reported about sleeping then not waking up, etc.
