Works very well! Creates a perfect puck - level, ridged and no gaps nor channels anywhere. It helps you to use the correct pressure and create a straight level easily. I can notice an improvement in the espresso, as compared to using the tamper that came with the Breville espresso machine. I like the look of the wooden handle too! I recommend this tamper.

Love this thing so much. Keeps me from second guessing my tamping and I can remain consistent. Definitely worth the money although I know I'll have to buy a new one when I upgrade to a new Espresso Machine. Changing the springs is fairly straight forward as well and only taking a few minutes to do.

Build quality is great and it looks fantastic. It fits nicely in my palm plus the materials used feel very premium.As for the grooves in the tamping I will say despite being very pleasing to the eye, they don’t seem to make any difference except to make the tamper harder to clean lol. If I had to buy again I would go with the same norm core tamper but with the smooth/flat tamp. Overall a great value tamper that works well with good fitment as long as you know your basket size.

Got it on sale and I love it. Honestly I never really found tamp pressure to be all that important and still don’t. A good distributor that keeps your grounds even is probably the most important thing but I do love the pattern this impresses onto the puck and it’s very easy to use.

Just an awesome tool, reliable and sturdy, consistent. They provide two additional springs that differ in their resistance which is awesome. 100% would recommend.
