This unusual and interesting book was not at all what I expected. It is however a delight.
The quirky style of this book might not suit everyone but is surprising, and mentally stimulating. I loved it. It has been a talking point among friends.

Animal Farm for the IT Generation
I wish I had read this in 1970s (when it was on my reading lists) and I wish every politician, social-worker and technologist would read it now. The paradigm shift for society was predicted (already happening!) and 'We' have tried to ignore the social aspects of it ever since!

Visonary, Strange and Interesting
I love the books by Paul Arden - eg It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be and especialy Marty Neumeier - eg Zag: The Number One Strategy of High-performance Brands . I bought this on a recommendation from a designer friend and it doesn't disappoint. Hard to imagine this was written in the 60's - even before digital watches. The terminology is interestingly prophetic - eg Electronic Media - meaning telephones, faxes, radio, satellite tv and print. It's a strange book, worth reading in context of when it was written.

Great book but poor printing
In case you want to understand our world and discover how stuck in time we are, this book is a must in any library.Penguin classics has printed a cheap and poor edition in this case. Pages do not fit properly and trim is not good enough
