Tasty and easy to prepare
This was my first time trying dried tofu skin. I boiled a pot of water, let it soak for fifteen minutes and served over beans. I added a dressing of avocado oil, crunchy garlic chili sauce and nutritional yeast, with a touch of black vinegar. Delicious and easy

Not bad at all.
Made these in a stir fry and ramen, and it was not bad at all. Loved the chewy texture.

Good quality, but way too expensive for what you get
The quality of this product is excellent: tender, good texture, cooks up well, easy to season. However, one pack only gets about three servings and medium servings at that. I'm being generous with that estimate. At that rate ($7.00 per pack) it's more expensive than fish.I thought maybe because it's being sold on Amazon is why it's pricey. However, I can't find it anywhere but Amazon! Does someone know if they sell in stores in the US and/or can you suggest a brand that's just as good? Honestly, I've tried other brands, and the quality isn't the same: chewy almost rubbery texture. Yuck. But, as good as this is, it's too expensive for soy.

So-o delicious!
I was not aware that Amazon was selling dried tofu skins and that they were so delicious! They are super healthy, too - at least from my perspective.I wish there was more written stuff in English on the packages: I had to resort to the explanations posted on Amazon how to soak them and how to cook them.I think the price is very good, too, for what you get!

Interesting...
I wanted to try Tofu skin because it seemed so versatile. I tried this version by soaking in water for 15 mins (per the directions) and that help to bulk them up, not much but you could tell that they were rehydrating. I drained them and then marinated them in dark soy sauce with zested garlic and let it set for at least 4 hours (my choice) I am sure you can do it for less or more. I stir fried this with some vegetables and it turned out well. They don't plump up very much and stay pretty thin, the texture is good for what you are eating. I think next time I will try fresh tofu sheets because I want more plump and texture. Overall expensive for what you get. So meh... nothing special.
