I purchased the Barbie Movie Doll for my six year old granddaughter and it was her favorite Christmas gift at our family holiday gathering. She loved the movie and it was a welcome addition to her Barbie doll collection. She played with it for hours, dressing her in the outfits that were included. The doll is meticulously designed to resemble Margot Robbie, the film’s lead actress, featuring the pink gingham dress, daisy drop earrings, daisy chain necklace, pink pumps, and a pink bracelet. The dress Is made from quality fabric and is very well crafted. Barbie has long, flowing blonde hair beautifully styled with a pink ribbon, with outfits inspired by scenes from the movie. The outfits include bright colors, playful accessories and detailed shoes and jewelry. She comes with accessories as seen in the movie such as sunglasses, handbags, and miniature props. I bought all the Barbie The Movie dolls, before I even had to opportunity to watch the film, and I'm astonished at what a great job they did in both the design and quality of this doll! The doll has beautiful and clean good quality paint job on her face without pixels, her hair style caused quite a controversy, with her curled bangs not being very authentic to the actress's look in the film, however after seeing her up close I think they are quite adorable this way, and it reminds me of the bangs that vintage Barbies used to have, back in the day! And although she doesn't have 'Made To Move' articulation, she is articulated enough to be a pleasure to pose around, personally I enjoy this type of articulation better, as the joints look less visible in photography. After finally watching the film, I'm now also really happy at how great they've captured the essence of both the actress, Margot Robbie and the clothes she wears in the film, this outfit is one of the most memorable in the film, as its features in possibly some of the coolest earlier scenes, no spoilers, lol! The price on her is a bit more affordable than the rest of the dolls, and you're actually getting the same quality as the rest of the dolls that are far pricier, so she's highly recommend~! If you or the person who this is destined for as a gift is a fan of the film, they will probably fall completely in love with her~!

My great granddaughter loves her and I do too! The dress is from the movie. I believe she is a little over 12” tall. Clothing for a 12” doll fits her.

Birthday present for a Barbie fan. Good price and quality

The doll is gorgeous! I share Barbie's name, both first & last & I played with her as a child. The price was great here so I decided to indulge. I planned to remove it from the box, I don't have any need to keep her boxed. Except....It took me literally close to 30 minutes to remove it! I can't believe no one else mentioned this. I used a box cutter, scissors & tweezers & still haven't been able to remove the attachments from the back of the head. Not sure I'll even be able to. I think some sharp child's scissors might help with that. A tiny pair of scissors is needed. I can't get it with my regular scissors. I can't fathom how other people are managing this. I'm assuming she isn't intended to be removed. I watched one of the "unboxing" videos & the person skipped the actual process & didn't mention anything regarding how to go about it. I took one star off for that but the doll is amazing. One of the shoes was loose & came off, will need to get some glue to attach it back.
