Best Mass Storage in Funny Device & Fast!
The **SanDisk 512GB Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive** is a solid choice for anyone seeking a compact and high-capacity storage solution. Here’s my honest take on its performance and usability:Design and Build 10/10This flash drive is **tiny and unobtrusive**, making it perfect for a plug-and-stay setup. Whether you’re using it with a laptop, smart TV, gaming console, or even in your car, its low-profile design ensures it doesn’t get in the way. However, the **plastic construction** feels a bit flimsy, and there’s no protective cap or lanyard hole, which makes it easy to lose or damage if you’re not careful. It’s clearly built for convenience over ruggedness.Performance 11/10SanDisk advertises speeds of up to **400MB/s**, and while it performs well for a flash drive, real-world speeds can vary. For smaller files or quick transfers, it’s more than adequate, but sustained transfers of large files (like movies or backups) may slow down slightly. This is typical for drives in this category, but it’s worth noting. Additionally, it does tend to **heat up** during heavy use, which might raise concerns for prolonged usage.Usability 8/10The **plug-and-play functionality** is seamless, and the drive works across a wide range of devices without any setup required. Its compact size makes it ideal for adding semi-permanent storage to laptops or even gaming consoles like the PlayStation or Xbox. However, because of its size and lack of physical protection, it’s better suited for static use rather than frequent plugging and unplugging.Pros:- **Compact and low-profile design** ideal for plug-and-stay use.- **Decent speeds** for everyday file transfers (up to 400MB/s).- Works well with a variety of devices (PCs, consoles, TVs, etc.).Cons:- **Plastic build** feels fragile and lacks a premium feel.- Can become **warm** during extended use.- No cap or lanyard hole, making it easy to misplace. My Final VerdictThe **SanDisk 512GB Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive** is a great choice if you need a discreet storage solution for expanding space on your devices. It’s fast enough for most casual tasks and offers excellent convenience with its plug-and-stay design. While it’s not the most durable or feature-packed flash drive on the market, it delivers solid performance for its price and size. Perfect for light to moderate use cases, but not ideal for heavy-duty or portable applications.

Good Value
I've been using the SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive for a few years now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance and convenience. The drive's compact design is a standout feature—about the size of a wireless mouse receiver—which makes it incredibly discreet and perfect for leaving plugged into a laptop, car stereo, or smart TV without sticking out or getting in the way. Its sturdy build ensures it can handle daily use, and the plug-and-play capability means it worked instantly on both my Windows PC and LaptopThe transfer speeds are solid, averaging around 130 MB/s read speeds, thanks to USB 3.1, enabling quick movement of large files. The 128GB capacity offers plenty of space for documents, movies, and media backups, making it ideal for on-the-go storage needs. However, a couple of minor points to consider: during heavy use or large transfers, the drive can get warm, but it hasn't impacted its performance or durability. Also, because of its tiny size, it’s easy to misplace—adding a keychain loop or some form of attachment could be helpful. Despite that, it's a small trade-off for such a high-capacity, high-speed device.Overall, I highly recommend the SanDisk Ultra Fit for anyone seeking a reliable, portable, and fast USB drive. Just be mindful of its small size, and you'll have a fantastic storage companion at a great value

Nifty little device. Couple of bits of advice.
Pretty amazing little device. I think because of its tiny size and plastic body, it may be a little more vulnerable to damage (as cited in some negative reviews) and to getting lost. If storage is the goal versus size, I suggest that one purchase a usb 3.0 splitter for $9 and leave the disk permanently in the splitter. When it's time to remove the drive from the system, remove the splitter with the attached drive . And, as always, don't just rely on one external back up. Even though lacie is great, drives break.

Seems to live up to its speed claims.
I purchased the 400Mb/s 512GB version, and I'm very happy with it. Bottom line: It's FAST. I'm using it for a specific application that isn't completely write limited, so throughput numbers in this context don't mean much, but in comparison to other USB drives I've been using for the same purpose, it blows the others away in speed. At the same time, it's not high priced compared to other devices of the same size. I'm very impressed, and I will be looking to buy more from this family in the future.

Always reliable, Always recognized by my laptop but slow downloads.
I use this to expand my storage on my laptops. I try not to store much on the laptop itself and store on these instead. 1TB is more than enough storage for me. I've used many different kids and this is the only one where my computer recognizes it every time. All the others had problems being recognized by my laptops. They would work when they wanted to. My laptop would say, don't recognize device. Or they would be there and then they completely disappear from the laptop. They would be plugged in but not seen by the computer. This is the only flash drive where I have zero problems with. Sometimes saving to this flash drive is really slow but so what. As long as it gets saved on it and I can access it whenever I want. It's reliable and that is all I'm looking for. Just plug it in and leave it there. Very small so you don't worry about it getting snagged on anything. Very secure in the USB slot. I bought 2 more of 32gb that I plugged into my Amazon TV Fire Cubes 3rd Gen for extra storage. Again, very secure in the USB port.

SanDisk USB stick
Small so easy to lose (haven't lost it yet knock on wood). Amazing that a lot of memory can fit into such a small stick. Works great on my laptops.

Pechinito rapidito speedy gonzales 😂
Sandisk somehow got to be my go to manufacturer for HDD's and storage, best quality / price ratio I guess. Not affiliated with them and I have no clue what other products they sell, but each and every HD upgrade , thump, SD card is from them and they never let me down
