No Strings Attached [DVD]

Friends with benefits remake
Two hours of light entertainment with original jokes and a positive suggestion, the effect of which is complemented by the impressive screen chemistry between the two stars Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher. Like any romantic comedy, however, here you will not miss the obligatory Hollywood happy end, which will set you up properly for Valentine's Day, but although it is predictable from the first to the last minute, the movie will hardly leave you bored - if for nothing else, then at least to appreciate his impressive cast. While Ashton Kutcher's participation in titles in this genre is a tradition, Natalie Portman once again has clear evidence of her boundless acting potential, as this is the first such "healing" role in her career. In addition to the names of Kevin Klein, rapper Ludacris and undoubtedly the original idea to give the boyfriend a "menstrual compilation" with bloody red hits on the occasion of her next cycle, we must admit that the movie is a very pleasant way to waste a few hours of your time… as long as, of course, you have one.

mismatched and a bit dull
Fluffy rom com, which I only watch rarely. Not as good as Friends with Benefits or Definitely Maybe or Leap Year or Back Up Plan or The Proposal, which in my opinion are better acted (if you can get past Matthew Goodes dodgy accent in LY). I watched it as have never watched Ashton Kutcher in a film and the reviews looked like it might be decent. Dont think I will bother with any more of his - not a fan. Totally inoffensive, but decidedly average film that would never have made it to being the big Bank Holiday movie when I was a kid.

Actually quite charming
This is quite a charming, sexy romantic comedy. Despite the title and the subject there is probably less sex in the file than American Pie. The story focusses on two people who are having convenient sex, but one clearly wants a more meaningful relationship than the other. The story unfolds in quite a charming way and is an enjoyable watch.

It doesn't disappoint at all
Being an Ashton Kutcher fan, and seeing the ratings, I decided to give it a try.It doesn't disappoint at all.Ashton's girlfriend leaves him for his father, he calls up all girls he knows and ends up spending the night with Natalie. They start the friends with benefit type relationship although its Natalie that insists on the freedom of sex without attachments. Ashton provides just that but then his heart gets involved. She will need to go find him if she wants them to have a chance.

A decent evening's light entertainment
This is a very nice undemanding romcom, perfectly suitable to while away an evening when you are unimpressed by the available TV programs. Great art it isn't, but that's never what it was intended to be. If you're looking for an enjoyable, unthinking, "brain-in-neutral" type film after the style of "Friends with Benefits", this should fill the bill admirably.

Some great cheesy lines and we both stayed awake
It's easy to watch and I wanted them to get together at the end. I'm not a big chick flick fan as they're always the same and predictable. However, I still found myself routing for them to get together. Quite good chemisty between Ashton and Natalie. If only people could be that comically straight forward in the real world.

Really, really liked it.
A funny film, with loads of good-looking people, doing rather stuff in a rather likeable manner, with flair & colour, and with proper acting (befitting a romantic sex-comedy). Haven't I listed enough reasons to justify five stars yet?You would love it, I'm sure.

A funny, enjoyable watch
As with Friends with Benefits, a funny, enjoyable watch.Have watched it many times and will continue to do so. It's Natalie Portman, what's not to like?
