1/4" is too big a hole for sheet rock anchors.
The towel rod itself seems high quality and looks good. I'm taking off a star because: 1) The instructions say to drill 1/4" holes for the anchors in sheet rock, but that is too big. The anchors just spun freely when I tried to screw in the screws. I was able to keep one from turning with a vise grip, but I had to use a different anchor for the other. 2) Unlike every other towel rack I've ever owned, the set screws use a hex key (Allen wrench) instead of having a slot head. That makes them harder to install since the wrench needs to be taken out after every half turn, and also means I have to keep track of the included hex wrenches if I ever want to take the towel rod down.

Good towel bar for the money
It is a poo paper holder. Simple really. As it is kind of the cheaper version of the Delta Lahara range, you do have to expect a few corners cut.The chrome is not perfectly smooth, it does show some surface contamination from the plating process. The chrome is not very thick, it will wear with time. The weight is good, these are pretty heavy pieces, so the castings are solid.I would strongly recommend measure 3 or 4 times before you mount the brackets on the walls, I did twice & I still have more slack in the rod than I would like to have as the holes were about 1/8" too far apart on the 2 wall brackets. My fault more than Franklin's.The wall mounting brackets are sound & mount easily. Use good screws with the right kind of screws & anchors for the wall substrate. If you don't you will have bad day & be unhappy. That is not Franklin's fault, it is user error.I have never been given anything for free from Amazon as apparently I am neither a prodigious enough reviewer, purchaser or just not funny enough to be worth anyone wanting to give me anything, so my reviews are as honest as you get....

Great value for money
This oil-rubbed bronze towel bar was under $10 yet, installed, looks like any of the higher-end brands. Its profile is modern and slim; it fits two folded hand towels perfectly. One thing to pay attention to when installing is the towel bar itself. If you don't mind it 'rolling' when you put your towels on there then install away, but if it bugs you that it rolls, i.e. is not fixed solid and makes a 'rolly noise' when you pull at the towels then when installing the towel bar into the two end pieces use some tape around the bar ends to 'lock' the bar in place so that it doesn't roll when you pull the towels off. Can't believe we got this for such a low price and free shipping. Amazing, Amazon!

Works, sturdy, looks nice. Waddayawant?
My towel is quite satisfied with this rack. It seems to supply its own gravitational field, so that the towel always hangs down. I have had problems with other brands that sometimes cause the towel to hang up, or just float right off. To be fair, those other ones were on the space station, so it might not be a fair comparison.

Very good knock off towel bar
This towel bar is a knock off from the Delta Lahara series. It comes with a paper template for easy installation. Even though you have a template, make sure you use a stud finder after making your bracket marks. If your bracket aligns with a stud, just make sure you use a different size drill bit since you won't be using an anchor casing anymore. This took me about 10 min to install. Once installed it was very sturdy and the towel bar itself does not roll around loosely like many towel bars. Has a nice even finish as well.

Bar protrudes from the wall further than normal
But it’s gorgeous! Just make sure you measure before you order (especially if your bath is on the smaller side), That you have room to open your door without it hitting the towel bar.It has a very nice weight to it too. A real quality piece!

Sophisticated sleek high quality
I have used Franklin Brass Somerset hardware in all of my three bathroom renovations. The price is very good, comparatively against the Delta line, and the quality is very good - brass, no cheap plastic. The towel rod does roll a bit but this brushed nickel one is not nearly as loose as the chrome 24 inch one I also purchased. There is some movement but the rod doesn't roll loosely or squeak. I think it will be possible to either wedge a tiny piece of paper or put some glue inside the socket to prevent the rod from rolling. I love the look!

Cheap and bent and maddening
The tiny, tiny adjustment screw/hole arrived slightly bent and completely stuck. The tiny, tiny hex wrench they supply to tighten the screw stripped its hole instantly with only the slightest turn, rendering it useless. No pliers, wrench, oil, banging or hammer could get the tiny screw to budge. Without the ability to tighten the screw, the rod arm falls right out. Waited too long to install and can't return it. Cheap and useless and infuriating.
