I'd purchased this Outdoor Sun Hat with the detachable neck and face flap to help during outdoor activities, mainly while moving items between storage units in Ceres and Citrus Heights. It was a lifesaver in the hot June and July temperatures!The design is incredibly functional. I especially liked the face flap and the long tail (not sure of the technical term) that covers the back of your neck and upper back. That extra coverage made such a difference under the blazing sun. I used it heavily during those months, and after a hand wash, it’s still in great shape. Some threads started separating here and there, but that’s understandable given how much I put it through—it really held up well overall.It’s now safely stored away, ready for next summer, and I’m confident it’ll perform just as well. For the price, it was perfect for the functionality and protection it provided. I highly recommend it to anyone needing solid UV protection for outdoor activities.

This is a good hat but it just didn’t look good on me so I had to return. It looked well made, good material not too thick but yet good sun protection. It was just too big for my head.

Really ideal design & roomy fit. It’s not tight on my head or nose at all, and the mask/veil has a wire across the top to help keep it in place without adding bulk or constriction. The cap and mask are very lightweight & well ventilated.The WIDE front brim is pitched downward just enough to effectively shield even late afternoon sunlight. The brim transitions continuously to the flowy, draped back - generously sized to provide ample coverage with minimal claustrophobia.

Stays on my head without a tight chin strap. Has a long rainproof/ sunproof cover down my neck. Light weight so doesn’t make me sweat. Super duper favorite garden hat.

I joke that I’m a living, breathing bobble head. Seriously, I’m 5’1” and most “one size fits all” hats are too tight on me. But this hat fits! It’s adjustable if you need it tighter. I love that there isn’t a brim on the back. It means you can wear it in the car or while lying down. Sun protection to ears and neck. Wide brim in front is stiff, so it doesn’t flop down. Waterproof.

Lightweight and decent construction for the price. Chin strap not easy to adjust. Hard to cinch/lock in place. I have had better chin straps.Nice wide brim, BUT it is hard to see far ahead while walking because of the wide brim. I find that I have to tilt either my head or hat up while wearing it. An inconvenience, but I tolerate it because the wide brim does provide more protection from the sun.However, the top or crown of the hat is made of a very thin material. On a warm clear day I can feel the sun penetrating to the top of my head, especially at high noon. That is very uncomfortable and a little worrisome.
