I have been experimenting with sourdough and wanted to try adding designs to it. I maybe should have read the details on this product a bit better but it was pretty runny and my regular food dye did not 100% mix into it like I was hoping but this may have just been user error. The colors remained the same after baking and it allowed me to experiment! I had some run off but I think my dough was not solid enough to keep its form anyways. Worth purchasing, I will continue to use it. It did not change the taste or texture of the bread at all.

I use about 60 drops of this white food coloring gel in each double batch of royal icing. Its thick liquid form makes this easy to use, reliable, and gives a nice quality white color base. With a white base, you’re able to color your icing in smaller batches to whatever color you choose, with little to no color bleed. Love it!!
