MASTERART Greyscale Colored Pencils 12 Colors for Kids and Adults Coloring

I love the range of grays--very useful colors, and work smoothly.

These have some nicer shades of grey ranging from cream to blackish. There is even one that is sort of a very dark brown color. Only complaint is the tips came broken on half.

Good quality and price

First impression is that these are thin pencils. Second impression was that they would break easy. They just feel fragile in the hand. Upon sharpening one of my pencils kept breaking. I sharpened it all the way down and was not able to get one useable point. That left me with 11 out of 12 pencils. They boast an extra thick 3.3mm core but I don't see how this is possible because they look and feel thinner and more fragile than even a roseart or Crayola pencil. The box promise that thickness of the core will help reduce breakage. It does not. When I made my color swatch sheet I noticed that the core seem hard and brittle. The box claims they are extra soft . The box claims that they have "extra lay down" and extra coverage. Not surprisingly I found these statements to be untrue. I'm had to use hard pressure to get any color to lay down. This tells us there was also no extra coverage. I had to work hard to get coverage. Please do not waste your money on these. They are absolute garbage. I gave them 2 stars because the color options were good. I am going to return these. I was going to keep them and deal with them but knowing me I will just get upset every time I try to use them. My art is supposed to be enjoyable. It isn't supposed to upset me

These are very nice pencils. Pigmented. Easy to sharpen and blend. Will purchase again

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Exactly what I was looking for. I draw maps for gaming and I wanted a minimalist touch for the map I was drawing. The Blacks, Greys and Whites are the full spectrum I needed in ONE PACKAGE - and the BEST PART? THEY ARE AFFORDABLE!!!

From our pack, the lead inside the pencils was not all broken in pieces. We have purchased other pencils before that when sharpened.

Arrived with 4 out of 12 leads broken. Started testing them out and another lead broke. That’s not great. They seem okay, though, when they’re not breaking. Definitely want a sharp, short-angled pencil sharpener, tho.
