Wry easy to put together and the kids have fun. Very sturdy, even held me.

My grandson likes this a lot. He enjoys laying out the pieces. So far he mainly uses it for his cars but as he gains confidence he will walk on it more.

I set these up as an obstacle course in our house on rainy days and my boy has lots of fun with these balance beam pieces.

My toddler loves this balance beam set! This set is made from solid sturdy wood and it is able to withstand rough toddler play. I also like the fine and gross motor development this set provides. I am very pleased with this item and would definitely recommend to others.

This review is for the poceton Bamboo Toddler balance beam with Stepping Stones. I got this primarily for my 5 and 7 year olds (older and younger siblings might play with it too). It came very well packed with custom fitting foam packaging inside a large box. Out of the box the wood looks really nice. There are 6 sections of balance beam with 5 connection bases and 2 “stepping stones.”The configuration options aren’t quite what I expected. You cannot make a closed loop with all 6 balance beam pieces- that would require 6 connectors. The “stepping stones” are actually end bases- these are what you use at the end of the beam if not doing a closed loop. The sections can hinge at the connectors which makes for lots of configuration options.This is rated at a max load of 500 lbs- we tried it with two adults and it held the weight well with no bending or creaking. While all of the pieces seemed sturdy and well made, the connections are wobbly and inconsistent. Pegs on the base fit into holes in the bottom of the beam. The peg length is a little inconsistent- the average is about 1.4 cm but some varied by several mm. The holes were closer to 1.5 cm but again varied by several mm- they also were not completely flat. Some of the balance beam sections will flip up when you step closer to the edge of them- this is my biggest concern. This is very wobbly on carpet and only a little better on a hard floor.Overall I think that, while the material seems solid, the construction of the connections is subpar and results in a tippy balance beam. The whole thing can very easily tip over if you wobble too much. This balance beam has the potential to be great but because it’s wobbly and especially because some of the beams flip up when stepped on, I do not recommend this product.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It is very well made. The pegs fit perfectly. The beam is classroom equipment quality. When I opened the box it looked smaller than expected but it is quite large. Loads of toddler fun. If you have the space for it you won't be disappointed.
