I've been starting my own veggie and flower seeds for decades. I've used the one-use black plastic cells, solo cups, yogurt cups, egg crates, etc. I thought I would try these kits and I'm so glad I did! They are much sturdier than I expected and easy to use, plus the clear greenhouse covers improved germination (I live in a desert). I was able to start small numbers of seeds at different times and still keep the soil moist during germination. When I had finished using them this spring, I washed them and you can't even tell they've been used. I'll get several years of use from these convenient little kits. Good purchase! I liked them so much that I bought a second set.

The clear inner package will let you seed the roots developing. This clear unit sits in a dark green container with the clear top to protect the seedlings as they grow. This clear top has an adjustable air vent as well. The other comments mention picking the planter up with 2 hands which is excellent advice. With reasonable care, I think these starter kits should last for several years.

These were built better than I thought and should last multiple seasons.

These are cute and seen to work well. I just planted seeds so they have not come up yet. I do recommend these trays and I like that they are complete with everything needed and sturdy. I believe they will be reuseable for many years. They are hard plastic not flimsy.

I highly recommend these starters they are probably the best ones I have ever used. I grow a vegetable garden every year and usually when I do my starters I get the little plastic starter cups and usually they are pretty junky. These are good quality strong and don't have any strange smell or weird plastic vibes going on. I love that they come with the lids that help you control the air flow because as we know starters can often get fungus or other molds if there's too much of a greenhouse effect going on. My plants are a weekend in the photographs and they are very happy I will definitely use these again and buy again if need be. Highly recommend if you are trying to start your seeds inside.

This item is way better quality than I expected. Very pleased. I have sprouts up in just a couple of days if February. One word of caution though, when moving the full containers with the lids on, use two hands. I dropped one of the containers twice. The clear lid fits loosely on top and does not snap in place, which is fine but prone to pop off when trying to handle with one hand. I still rate these 5 stars.

The product worked ok, the major flaw that I ran into was that the lids don't stay on the base in any wind at all. I set my seed trays outside on a warm day and when I went outside to collect them the lids were nowhere to be seen.

Die Kästchen eignen sich super für die Anzucht. Das Subtrat bleibt feucht, aber nicht nass, und mit dem drehbaren Einsatz im Decklel kann man die Feuchtigkeit auch noch regulieren. Super Teile !

J'avais un peu d'apriori négatif sur ces boîtes en ayant peur qu'il y ait beaucoup de promesses non tenues.Point du tout ! La qualité est vraiment bonne, le plastique est dense sans être rigide (et donc peu cassable) et elles sont livrées avec des outils !La seule chose qui manque serait un poussoir aux dimensions des caissettes et ce serait le produit PLUS QUE PARFAIT.

This is a good value product. Nice deep plugs with a separate seed tray and cover with a simple but effective vent.They are not the most robust products I have ever used but certainly sturdy enough and great value at the price paid.They are slightly smaller than half size seed trays but actually prefer this as they use space more effectively
