These little amps are expensive compared to other practice amps, but absolutely worth it. Sound quality and ease of use are great, the app works well, the sound models are pretty varied and all sound good. The battery lasts a good while and it weighs next to nothing - I took this and my donner travel guitar round the US and Canada, with this inside the donner case - and it was great for practicing inside hotel rooms. Can run the line in, the metronome, and backing track all at once. Also great when used as a BT speaker. I’ll be buying more PG amps based on the experience I’ve had with this one.

Exactly what I needed. Great little, convenient practice amp, really well made, I've had several 'practice amps' in the past, ranging from £50 1-5w gimmicks (Fender mini, Blackstar fly, Orange crush mini) to £150 25w modeling amps (Marshall code). They are all awful, all sound like cr*p and the more pricey ones (bigger) which sound a little better are a faff, needing mains power, Bluetooth functions are limited and are still a pain in the arse*e to get out of a cupboard and set up before you can play. This is perfect, holds a charge, is pocket sized, truly plug and play, get great guitar tones in seconds and the app is fantastic. If you're like me... who just wants a good sound, at low volumes, that you can set up in seconds for a 30min noodle/practice on the sofa in the evening, then don't look any further. Again the app is great too, a fantastic learning/practice aid. On top of all that...... It has very impressive sound quality when used as a bluetooth speaker and plenty loud enough for a lounge or barbecue with 12 people talking and having drinks. I very nearly went for a GP5, but by the time you buy a decent little speaker, battery pack so you're not chained to a wall, you're in the same money.... And again it's all a faff to set all that up. This does everything that a GP5 does and more, and is far more convenient, well worth the extra £25 I would highly recommend! If you didn't already realise 😜

As someone who started playing the guitar a long time ago this little amp has amazed me. It's not much bigger than your phone but is loud enough for home practice and is very portable. Where it really comes into its own is with the app which gives a whole range of different amp sounds. That in itself is great but what makes it even better is the tone cloud where users have submitted presets. What this means is if you want to play a particular song you can search for the tone and there are usually a good number to choose from to sound like the song you want - no twiddling with knobs or extra pedals, just a couple of clicks. Great little amp.

There doesn't seem to be a way of playing my own backing tracks along with the FX settings, you have to use THERE backing tracks. So I was hoping to use this for busking and small gigs but its just not workable. I tried using two phones one with the FX app and one with the backing tracks of my own. It seem to work for a while then it would either crash and then reset the pairing mode. This is just unreliable for serious work, ok for home studio and practice that's all not serious live work just too unreliable. Shame it had me excited at first but knew it was gonna be too good to be true as usual. I've never been a fan of anything digital or software wise, back to the old metal pedals for me. Update: 2 days later they brought out an updated firmware so now most of the bugs are ironed out and its more reliable am pleased to say. So I maybe able to use the software after all, there is too many FX to mention but users can load up there own to help others, sharing is the way to go. Some FX may not match the tone but you can always fine tune them anyway and reprogram. I am able to connect better now and the app dosent crash as much. Also I can now jump from the FX am using to my backing tracks by swopping apps without losing my guitar settings, this is much better. Update: 12th June Still not been able to get it to work with Spotify, some kind of Get Fetch Fail, still crashes here and there.

Powerful, great sound, very adaptable/adjustable and recommended for all guitarists. Portable, I use mine with wireless transmitter/receiver. Brilliant product.

Ive only had this product for less than an hour and Im already blown away by how amazing this is considering both its ridiculous small size and very reasonable price. For anyone starting out playing electric guitar this is a must have. The sound it gives for such a tiny package is really astounding. For my man-cave I had to turn the volume right down! Couple that with the what the app provides in terms of the wide range of various sounds and tones through all the software amps and pedals...it's just plain mental! For learning what each type of pedal does and how it modifies the sound alone is an education in itself, and thats only a small part of what the can do. If you have just started out learning guitar do yourself a favour and forget buying a big expensive and limited amp, buy this instead, you won't regret it.

Fantastic. Only been using for a few hours. Easy to use app. Loads of amps/FX and pedals to choose from. Got the extra hendrix bundle. Sound wise it's brilliant - I keep looking around the room expecting to see a bigger speaker (it really is that good). Great with phone Bluetooth audio and is better than my normal Bluetooth listening speaker. All in all, the best bit of audio tech I've used in a long time.

Such a quality item. It’s small, functional, easy to use. It looks very nice, we’ve put it on top of the piano as accessories when we don’t use it. Value for money.

Realmente muy útil para practicar, aún que el sonido no es tan nítido, para el tamaño que tiene suena muy bien y con un volumen alto, tiene buena potencia y lo que destaca son todos los efectos que se pueden utilizar gracias a la app. Pros: tamaño discreto y uso de múltiples efectos, buena duración de la batería (llevo una semana sin recargarlo con prácticas diarias de una hora), buena potencia en comparación con el tamaño. Completamente recomendable en relación calidad/precio. Cons: aún que tiene función de bluetooth, no se puede utilizar como bocina para la música desde las apps como spotyfi, tienes que utilizarla desde la app de spark, el sonido no es tan nítido (sin embargo se entiende en relación o tamaña)

I use it with a blues harmonica, and it exceeded all my expectations. I can only recommend it!

Suono top! E non solo amplificatore.. Partiamo dalla cosa principale, ovvero come suona. Bene, molto bene, si possono salvare quattro preset rapidi, ma tramite l'app se ne possono creare molti di più scegliendo svariati amplificatori, distorsori, delay, rev e fx. Il suono è molto convincente e nonostante la dimensione piccola dello spark go, il volume non è niente male. Inoltre sempre tramite app si può accedere a youtube e suonare sopra i brani che vogliamo, e con gli accordi trascritti sotto! Possiamo anche suonare su delle basi niente male presenti all’interno. La batteria dura tanto, e il design è solido. Che dire, suono da tanti anni e questo ‘’ampli’’ è perfetto per studiare quando non si ha voglia di andare al computer, o quando si è in giro, plug and play. Proverò anche a collegare l’uscita cuffie ad un mixer, credo che non sfiguri assolutamente. Ergo, acquisto azzeccato!

Vraiment le meilleur truc que j'ai jamais eu de ma vie. On peut jouer partout quand on veut. Très léger, petit on peut même le mettre dans sa poche. On peut l'utiliser en tant qu'une simple enceinte ordinaire. Mais c'est un véritable ampli connecter avec sur batterie et qui dure longtemps. Sur l'application il y a plein d'effets. Clairement pour le prix c'est extrêmement correct. Avec un ampli classique où on voudrait y ajouter des effets ça aurait clairement coûter plus cher (Et ça aurait pris une place pas possible chez soi). Alors que là on a tout dans une seule enceinte. Accompagné d'un son de très bonne qualité. Moi qui aime bien jouer 10min par-ci par-là de temps en temps tout au long de la journée. Vu que c'est sur batterie et que les effets sont déjà dedans. Pas besoin de faire d'installation ou de branchement à chaque fois et de tout ranger 10 minutes après. (Si vous êtes comme moi c'est si je vous faut mdrr) Qualitatif, simple et efficace !!! C'est exactement ce que je recherchais Sans parler du design de l'ampli, qui est vraiment super jolie et les matières sont agréables et m'ont l'air de durée dans le temps (Il fournissent 2 pièces supplémentaires pour modifier le look à notre goût). Extrêmement ravi je recommande à 1000%

The wow factor of this is the amp and effects unit. It does what it's supposed to, which is make your guitar sound fantastic. The phone app is easy to use and includes a nice tuner feature as well as a massive selection of effects. The sound through headphones is incredible and it's really a perfect headphone practice box, though it does have a decent speaker. Spark will tell you all about the AI features, and the ability to play backing tracks, and that works well, but we wary ... some of the features come with an extra cost. The audio reproduction from this tiny amp+speaker is very good. Volume is great for the size and the quality is decent. It's not directly comparable to an Apple speaker or similar as it's not attempting 3D sound - it's just a good mono speaker. I've had a few devices like this, and none of them sounded as good, either through headphones, on built-in speaker, or into a power-amp. Setup is easy, though the setup guide is poorly presented. It comes with two face plates so you can have fabric look or black, and a choice of straps. Everything feels rugged, solid and robust, no loose plastic or cheap controls. The base is rubberized to stay put and damp any rattles from sitting on a desk or floor. If I have one tiny complaint, it's that it can be a little slow to negotiate a bluetooth connection, and you have to manually make the phone-app reconnect each time you power the unit on. Other than that, it punches way above its weight and easily knocks out the "usual" competitors. Spark are the boss of the phone-app-driven amp segment right now. I've heard the Spark 2 and that encouraged me to buy this with confidence. Obviously, these things don't sound quite like a big cabinet plus a high-end valve amp, but they are eerily good for the size and money.
