Great quality
Fridamom, I love you. I wish I had gotten one of these for myself, but I got it as a “spicy” babyshower gift to my newlywed girlfriend. She loved the mirror and said it helped so much with her fear of tearing. It does Not come with the massage ointment, so be sure to grab some of that, too.Great for building confidence in your ability to stretch, and very functional for you to massage yourself or your partner to help. (For real, they should be helping.)Will be purchasing for myself for my next baby!

Great tool- wish I could’ve used more
I was recommended to buy this item from my cousin, as she had a vaginal delivery and she said it was helpful + a great way to connect with her husband. Unfortunately I only used it a few times because I ended up having an unexpected C section! But the wand is very easy to use, quality feels great, and the mirrored box it comes with is helpful.I love everything this company makes! They also have a fridauncensored website where women show you how to use these products. For more censored content, their Instagram and official website have the info.

Helpful but could be more ergonomic
OK, so I got this massager to massage my perineum to reduce a chance of tearing during birth. Well, it is helpful. It can also be a bit uncomfortable as far as the handle, not being ergonomic enough. However, I do still find it more effective than using my own fingers.

thankful for this product
I swear this is the product that kept me from tearing during labor and delivery and it’s very easy to use with a big pregnant belly

Good idea, but a bad purchase. Bad quality.
Doctors recommended a massage wand to help with elasticity of the perineum and reduce the risk of tearing.Got this based on number of reviews. I didn't return the wand, but want to share the following:- The mirror is a good idea. But the way the mirror is designed into the packaging make it hard for the mirror to stand upright on the bed. You really need to find a flat surface or the box will tip over easily.- The "seam" (don't know what to call it) is obvious and you can definitely feel it. Very uncomfortable. For something that is going to be rubbing against your sensitive area, you would think they would pay more attention to the quality control.- No vibration. I have since gotten VWELL Arc pelvic relaxer. I got it for $29, but it didn't specifically say it's for perineal massage. Got it anyways, and it is perfect. Handle with grip, smooth silicone, and vibration.Hope this helps you.

Great
Being a first time Mom, I want to be as prepared as I can. This wand is a great tool, especially when you are further along in your pregnancy, and your belly gets in the way. Highly recommend. It will take some practice, but you’ll eventually get the hang of it. As for the prep balm, I do not recommend it. It’s hard to squeeze the lube out of the tube. It does not feel moisturizing at all. You can buy something more affordable and better. I would not recommend buying the wand and balm as a package, just get the wand by itself.

I DIDNT TEAR!
I got this and a birthing ball, along with doing all the exercises. I started doing the massage around 36 weeks pregnant, slowly eases into it doing it more each week. Gave birth the day I turned at 39 weeks and didn't tear! I got this and was doing exercises as well to loosen my pelvic floor muscles because I was scared to death of tearing myself a new hole as one might say. I got horror stories from many women in my life. I think this was definitely worth doing it and I recommend it to any mom! The exercises might of been a big part of me not tearing as well, definitely recommend using coconut butter with this for some natural lube to make it more comfortable and more suitable to stretch.

Not recommended by doctors
You don’t need it to push, it’s just marketing, not recommended at all by doctors, talk to your health provider and google about it before you buy because it can’t be returned. I wasted my money. The product is beautiful and well made though but only decorative.
