If you buy every piece separately that would be way costly. I am going to learn to make hand made book for art.

For the price it met my expectations. I haven't used all the pieces yet. But the ones I have used were good for home use.

Seemed like a great deal, however, the notes in the eyes of the needles were too small. They were more like sewing needles than what you would need for larger string. I did not open it (returned it) but otherwise it looked like a good value. I would say the awl alone is worth the price if that's what you need. The needles were the main reason I ordered it.
