Shower cartridge
It was exactly what my Plummer wanted to use. It works great so far.

much easier to fix than i thought
Our shower was dripping and I researched online, called Hansgrohe for part # , then watched a bunch of u-tube videos none on which was about our part, so when we got the old part out we just put the new one in reverse order, easy peasy, no leak, save $500 in plumbing fee. phew!

Replacement for Hansgrohe Thermobalance II
I had a Hansgrohe Thermobalance II that began to leak steadily so I purchased this replacement and it worked perfectly! Relatively easy to install, just be aware that mine came with a chrome tube and bracket which secured the cartridge to the pipe.

Removing the old valve - Especially when you don’t have any guidance
It’s press fit directly into copper splitter that connects cold and hot waters. You may have to wiggle up and down and pull hard to remove the old valve, which I wasn’t aware of it nor there was any guideline or review, so I was scared in first place if I pulled too hard I may break something. But after trying three times I was able to pull out the old valve and after that installing new one was piece of cake 😊

Lemon - Returned
Installation is fairly straight forward, but I had water shooting everywhere. There aren't that many variables to play with in order to get this thing installed. Called mfg and had a new part order that worked like a charm. I can't verify the authenticity of this cartridge (seemed OK), but this one was certainly a lemon. Returned and refunded.

If you have any do it your self skills you can fix your shower body yourself and save a lot of money not calling in a repairman.
