Excellent pen
Part of my EDC now, very durable, writes well, has the weight of the original parker pen but slightly chunkierThe light on the clip has 3 settings, 1 of which is very bright and the pen light is great for working in low light areas.Very worth the money 👍

Brilliant pen
I've had one of these pens for a while and I've found it's a brilliant pen good writer and very useful even in power cuts where it as come in to it's own.My manager like it aswell so I bought her one aswell for her birthday.I've always got mine with me.

Nifty tool
Pen writes nice and smooth, torch is bright! The pen is on the heavier side (as there is a built is battery) and laser would be better if a little brighter but work well overall

Nothing makes you keep track of a pen like it costing over 60 quid
It's a bit top heavy but well made, torch is bright enough, laser has come in handy a couple of times and most importantly I now always have a pen on me as I don't want to leave 65 or so quid laying around.

Good Tool not implemented correctly and worse Pen
Barely used it and the Ink that comes with it seems to be making writing a terrible experience the ease of how the torch button is pressed makes it so the battery can easily be accidently be drained leaving you with a pen you would not reach for if a Bic is available.I find the laser function good with its link to the pen its difficult to accidently trigger it with a good visibility to point things out.The general writing light is quite a nice feature but with the above i think it might be ruined when its needed as the main torch might have drained the battery by the time you want to use itThe Torch function can be great with multiple light levels but as stated above even with the simple hold lock i found in a pocket its dead the next day with being on and found it on on various occasions.Med

The best pen for electricians
Being an electrician I’m normally working in the dark and when it comes to taking notes I’d find myself faffing around with my phone light whilst trying to take notes, this pen eliminates that and I’m very thankful, highly recommend this if you work in the dark a lot or do night work.

Great idea, for the few hours it lasted
Absolutely disappointing first entry to Olight products. This seemed like the perfect pen and edc tool for home, casual and office!Well the thing lasted maybe half an hour after charging. Then wouldn’t charge for a few days and the charger just remained green and turned off soon after inserting the pen, likely because it thought the pen was fully charged. Then a few days later I tried again and it went red when I put the pen in and charged up! Lasted about a day with minimal use but ok better than before. Then it charged a bit again but not great. Then I unscrewed the top half where the battery sits and it worked standalone as it should. But then once screwed back on to body of the pen and tried to charge back to the same initial problem. And now after over a week it refuses to charge and is completely useless other than a very expensive ball point too heavy pen.! Disgraceful and I feel quality control is non existent. Sending back. Sticking to a torch and a pen of far better quality and price. Never again even will I give olight another chance

Worse than the Pro it's replacing
There are few rechargeable small lasers on the market. The O'Pen *Pro* is a tiny laser with an integrated USB C charger and LED light, which happens to have a fairly chunky pen screwed onto the end. Which is fine if you want the pen; if you just want the laser, you can leave it unscrewed and ignore it.The Glow, which seems to be the replacement for the Pro (going by "clearance" sales), brings a chunky proprietary charging solution which, in addition to the charger, requires that you used the pen part (the end has a two-prong connector where the Pro had its USB C).If you want it as a pen to use as your desk, the Glow may be slightly better. The glowing tip might be useful, although the Pro lets you just use the end as a torch if you want to see where you're writing. The lockout is new, although a lockout that's activated by holding a button down isn't exactly unlikely to get triggered by accident (you can just unscrew the Pro a bit to lock it out, if you're using the pen end). If you're permanently next to the proprietary charger, something you can dump the pen in is a convenience compared with unscrewing it to charge; if you're ever travelling or just don't care about the pen bit, it's not. And if you really want an overweight pen, it's annoying that it takes proprietary (or at least rare) refills, though there are allegedly adaptors available.Note that neither the laser nor torch are terribly bright, which is no surprise given the size. If you just want something tiny to EDC and have in hand in case your indoor cats make a bolt for the outside, that's ok; unlike a disconcerting number of "laser pointers" this is actually a pointer, not a device for remotely popping balloons (and is less likely to blind your cat). But unless you keep the pen part with the charger, it's twice the size of just carrying the business end of the Pro.I'm a Pro owner, ranting here after doing some research in the hope that OLight realise what they had and at least keep them both in production. The company does love its proprietary magnetic chargers, and while they're convenient in a static location, they're a pain for travel. This is an item that might accompany you on business trips, so a losable custom charger is just a pain.
