Avenger Work BootsMen's High Top Industrial Shoe

The only animal that I know for sure was used in the testing of these safety shoes was me (lol.)This review is for the Avenger mid top heavy duty canvas alloy toe boots. They remind me of a modern version of the Israeli combat jungle boots. The Avenger boots fit true to size, not too large not too small, and they appear to be made of little-to-no animal products.* Canvas upper instead of skins or hides, and yet they have passed OSHA muster, and meet the ASTM F2413-18 safety rating that employers require.The only thing I would suggest to the manufacture (maybe) is a heel loop for being able to grab the rear portion of the shoe when putting them on. No loop is no biggie though, I guess it does make them less prone to snagging on something.So far the Avenger boots made it through one shift with no pinching, no sore spots, and no hot spots. I appreciate that the boot comes with flat laces that were laced such to not be digging into the top of the foot when being pulled tight.Anyways, if you were on the fence about these don’t be, the Avenger boots are a well made pair of safety shoes that will get the job done. They have the same anti microbial footbed under the insole that my Nautilus slip-on safety shoes have, and they have the identical non-slip oil-resistant sole that the Nautilus safety shoes have as well (see pictures.)*I have not verified with the manufacturer whether or not this specific line of safety boots are indeed animal-product-free. Besides.the skin or the hide of the animal, the glues that are used along with other considerations in the manufacturing process might have included animals too, something to think about eh?If you don’t care whether your stuff is animal-harm-free, or if being kinder to the rest of the world is not your cup o’tea, oh well (smh) you’ll still dig these boots, they are a comfortable, lightweight, no frills, safety boot that you will be happy with. Just bought my second pair. The first pair lasted me 10 months of hard outdoor abuse in an aviation/flightline environment (weather/oils/fuel/fluids/temperatures). Sturdy, comfortable, and supportive. The only downside is overtime the grommets came loose and became a bit of a hazard. I found ways to keep them on the shoe strings and not fall off. This is a solid shoe with great style. I get compliments on the ”skate look“ all the time.

Just got mine. Had for 1 day and will update later if they hold up. My job is exceptionally hard on work boots.So size was true for me, they are comfortable. I like my chuck Taylor's and these feel very similar. I got them for a light weight summer boot. Wish I could get them in gortex, but oh well I will switch on rainy days. What you see is what you get. I will update after a month maybe to show how they have held up.

Ey, there ok. The quality is good, material is tough , but the comfort is not there. They fit like chucks.

I ordered a size up and slipped in insoles, and they are incredibly comfortable to wear! I'm on my feet all day and I never have any lower back pain or uncomfortable feet. They are also very durable and work well as no-slip shoes. Well worth the money, and look like Converse! Very good overall for work shoes

I am very happy with this purchase! These shoes have held up, kept my toes safe with the protection it provides, are very comfortable, and even grippy on wet surfaces. I surprised with the amount of grip it has with its supposed (lack of tread) it is overall the most comfortable lightweight shoe I have ever worn for work! Definitely recommend! (And they are sick looking)
