Delicious, Favorite Bedtime Tea 🍵
I first tried the Chamomile Mint Citrus from one of Vahdam's sample tea packs. It is now my favorite tea to drink before bedtime. I struggle with a lot of anxiety and can never seem to get a restful night of sleep. I can finally fall asleep at a godly hour with this tea. On top of that, this tea is delicious on its own or with a drizzle of milk and honey. I LOVE this flavor and will continue to buy millions more. Thank you Vahdam tea for making such a high quality, healthy product.

Awesome product
I have tried both the Vahdam instant vanilla chai tea latte mix along with the pumpkin spiced instant latte mix and they are both are so delicious. The best part is not only the flavor, but the ingredients are clean and it is low in calories. These are quality products. Thank You!

YUM!!!
I first received this as a birthday gift from my bff and was excited to try it. It’s delicious!😋 The calorie/carb/sugar is way lower than any of the other chai lattes that I’ve seen too. You definitely don’t need to add milk, but I add oat milk creamer or sweet cream coffeemate to it and whisk it to really blend it. I love the Vanilla, but the regular Masala Chai latte is super good too. I’m on my 4th package😁

Fairly good tea, if prepared right. Grassy and bitter if not.
Being a bit of a tea-snob, I approached this "cheap product" with caution. Other than the price, it had two things going for it: it was organic, and it was reasonably fresh (my package was harvested Summer of 2017, I consumed it during Jan and Feb of 2018. Not too old, as far as tea goes. Not really fresh, but much better than anything you'd get in your average Kroger, Whole Foods or especially your neighborhood Teavana store (don't get me started on those). The first batches I ran turned out rather bitter. Obviously, the tea needs a bit more heat than most of the green teas I usually drink do. The tea also benefits from aerating. The palate is pretty grassy, as others have pointed out, with little of the subtle notes of roasted vegetables and blossoms that the better Darjeeling teas tend to have. Also none of the lovely muscatel fragrance that the Southern Darjeeling plantations are famous for. I suspect this tea is grown pretty much in the North, and they are probably harvesting most of the tea leaf.OK then, let's brew it as such. Here's the recipe to success: use fresh, cold, filtered water only. Heat it up to 175ºF (80ºC), use at least 5 teaspoons of tea for 1 quart/liter of water, and let the tea steep for 4:00 minutes. Then pour the brew away (or feed it to your plants) and immediately prepare a second brew with 170ºF and 4:30 minutes steeping time. That one will be excellent. Smooth and luscious liquor, not overly complex, but still enough layered taste for you to explore and keep it interesting.

Really nice tea with incredible attention to detail in packaging
Let's start with the packaging: This tea comes vacuum sealed in a nice package that "pops" when you cut the seal. It has a very long neck so that, after you cut it open, you have a nice long top to pour it into the container it's going to stay in. Vahdam has included a thick, dark plastic, zip top bag for you. The bag is folded up inside the cardboard box and unlabeled. But never fear: There is a VERY LARGE full color label that looks just like picture on the box.I peeled this label and applied it to the zip top bag, then poured the pound of tea into it. It seals solidly and is light proof. This is a great addition so the tea will stay fresh for a long time. The taste and smell: Initially I was a little put off by the "flowery" smell of this tea. I have only had a few other Assam teas, so I'm not sure what a very high quality Assam should smell like. This has kind of a sharp note, as opposed to the warm notes I get from Ceylon tea.I initially used about the recommended amount of tea: Approximately 4 grams for 12 to 14 oz of water. The recommendation is 2 grams for 7 oz of water. I use a bigger cup! That cup of tea was flowery at first and then a little bit malty as it cooled. It was fine, but not really what I wanted. For my next cup the following day I used more like 5.5 grams for 12 to 14 oz of water. This cup was very different. Very little flower taste. The malt became much more prominent and increased as the tea cooled. The flower and (very mild) astringency showed up in the after taste. This was a much more satisfying cup of tea for me. I like malt and this muted malt was nice and seemed to keep changing as I drunk it. The last few sips seemed to have a (very mild) chocolate flavor. For me, using a good bit more than the recommended amount of tea is the way to drink it. I like this tea and will be drinking more.So a very nice tasting Assam with the best, most useful, packaging I have ever seen. Recommended!

Quality product from people trying to make a difference.
After decades of drinking tea, (mostly Asian) I have to say this is the best FTGFOP1 Assam I've tasted. It's very smooth, light, malty; not the kind of tea you need milk in.Nice package design. In fact, our package is almost empty, need to order more...

Mal estado
