Surf Board Rack
Well made. Sturdy and simple to set up. It looks good too!

Solid product, but wider boards don’t fit the gap at bottom
I bought this board for indoor rack, needed something that’s easy to move around and compact. It’s a solid rack, is light enough to easily move around and has a nice footprint. Also looks good in my space. The only issue is the gap between the bottom wooden slats are too small for wider boards (i.e. fish), and they will sit on the wooden slats instead of the floor. Just resting my soft RNF board on it left indents on the rails (the blue catch surf board in pic). This is the reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. The gap is 10”, and the wooden slats sit at about 3 1/4” off the floor. To fix this I bought an 11” x 34” piece of plywood and drilled it in so the boards have a flat surface to sit on. Also glued down a rubber mat (cut up from a slim yoga mat). Problem solved. Boards are still stable in the rack.Pictures also show a 7’8 funboard and an 8’ log and they fit between the wooden slats just fine.Rack arrived quickly and easy to put together. I’m happy with it and didn’t mind the extra work but it does add some cost and DIY steps if you want a flat surface.

UNSTURDY & NOT GOOD FOR LONG BOARDS
I was so disappointed with this & it reminds me of the wooden airplane kits we got as kids. There was a piece of hardware missing & also the top divider piece notch wasn't cut correctly so I've had to ask for replacement. With or without something underneath, and with a concrete column/wall support behind it, still VERY RICKETY. I have mostly longboards and this rack would not work at all without a concrete wall behind it. I feel the base should be wider to provide more lean room for longboards and that might alleviate some of the rickety unstable base. Definitely too much $ for this produce & very disappointed as I had looked at so many & read so many reviews.

Not worth it
The surfboard stand is very flimsy. It falls apart as soon as you pull a board off or move it because it’s a lot of tongue and groove pieces. It doesn’t stay in their tight so when you move something the whole thing collapses. Very disappointed.

Store your boards
Product was easy to put together and the boards easy to put in and pull out. We have 6 and 8 ft boards and with the 8 ft boards the rack needs to be secured against a wall as it sways back and forth with the extra weight. Which was easy to do.

My boards are on the edge of tipping
Great product, however with a toddler at home I’m now worried boards to fall off. Do you have a recommendation for a product to keep the boards from falling?

Fun way to show off my surfboards
I have a small quiver of surfboards that I've kept in the garage for a few years. I got this stand so I could show them off in my living room without having to lean them in the corner and worry about them get knocked over and damaged. The stand was pretty easy to assemble but there's a little play in the way the parts fit together even when everything is properly tightened. The quality of the plywood is good, and it's much sturdier than MDF or engineered wood. The natural finish looks nice too.Overall, it looks great and it's a nice way to showcase my boards. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the cost is similar to other stand-up surfboard racks, and personally I think this is one of the better looking ones.
