Evans Power Cool 180 Waterless Coolant (5 Litre)

I've had this in my early Mk2 Mazda MX5 since 2015. It does not need changing.You need to thoroughly drain any water based coolant from the engine first, and then run the engine for a while with the pre additive water scavenger in the cooling system. Then drain down before filling with the waterless coolant. The scavenger fluid can be used several times, so retain for later use.The waterless coolant has a high boiling point. Higher than water. This gives several advantages. It reduces the likelihood of localised hotspots in the engine and it also runs at a lower pressure because it doesn't boil. So less strain on hoses etc. You should not get the corrosion issues that you would get with water based coolant either.It's cooling capacity is less than water however. I fitted a double core aluminium radiator to my car.It's been driven all over the UK, south west Ireland and much of north and central Europe.It's quite expensive, more so when you factor in buying the pre scavenger fluid too. But it will last the potential lifetime of the engine.

Coolant for my car. It had been mooted that I drive to Tunisia. I had experienced water loss while in the desert in Israel. It was recommended to use this product.Bloody good stuff.

This appears to do all that it says it will do, no more changing coolant, no more burst pipes due to pressure, and a fair price, very pleased.

Done 2.000 miles so far and no probs. Temp dead steady.

it might cost a lot but this is fantastic stuff.I will never use water again.

Been suing this coolant in my Rx7 for years and not had any problems with it. The high boiling point means it handles the heat of the rotary and turbos better, only got this to replace the coolant lost in some routine maintenance other than that I’ve not needed to top it up in 5 years.

Decent staff amazing product really happy with this, one essue is when the radiator needs replacing due to being craked and you try to buy more evans coolant they won't sell it to you then your stuck with having to use water and antifreeze, becouse they just won't sell it again! I buy the product and it gets cancelled every time, even knowing this is a really good product and worth it, its pointless to buy it as you will just have to go back to using water.

Put this in my yb engine and its spot on been using evans now for years
