My daughter is 11 and new to all of this. It's only been 3 months since she started and her flow unfortunately has been very heavy and she kept having accidents. Even buying the extra long overnight pads still caused leaks and stains all over her pajamas and sheets. She would get upset and frustrated that she had to jump in the shower every morning upon wake up and was over the constant messes. The first two months she was overwhelmed and would cry. This was luckily during the Summer but now with school starting she was very nervous about possible embarrassment. I went online and went on the hunt for some type of period underwear to help her and make her feel more comfortable. I looked for days and read many reviews of many different brands. We tried the thinx already, but she didn't like how thick and uncomfortable they were and she was too scared to go without a pad with the heavy flow, so the double padding just didn't work. After reading and looking everywhere, I decided to give these a try. We got them right on time before she started her 3rd month and for the very first time, she had no leaks at night while sleeping! She did still wear the long overnight pad ofcourse, but they worked great to stop all leaks! You must still wear a pad with these!! You can not go without. They have a thin waterproof lining, so that if it leaks out of the pad, it stops it from going through her clothes. Now she has a little bit more piece of mind with school starting and any way I can make her feel a little bit more comfortable during this time is a plus. Hoping that they continue to work and hold up now during school, but so far so good! 🤞🏻

My daughter started her period way sooner than I was prepared for. She is only 10 but I had been looking into period panties hoping to be prepared. Unfortunately I was not prepared with these panties when she started but I ordered them the day she started and got them the next day. She was not a fan of pads which she wore before these. Who likes pads? Lol she has had 3 cycles since getting these and they are amazing. When on a light cycle she can just wear these and feel comfortable and doesn't feel restricted in her movement. On heavier days she uses panty liners with this to help absorb. This is definitely the way to go for young girls starting their period and are not old enough or ready for tampons. Or people who just don't like tampons. I will definitely be buying more as she grows!
