High quality DVD. Excellent movie, especially for Michael Jordan fans to see how his famous shoe was born! Love it!

When a sleep aid is needed, this movie is the perfect sleeping pill. On the first viewing, one will fall asleep several times during the movie. Besides that, it is amazing to know the strategies that clothing and shoe developers have to resort to, to have ground-breaking athletes wear and endorse their products. In this movie, Michael Jordan's mother is the primary negotiator for her son on the Nike Deal. Who ever knew that? One curious point in the movie now that Ms Viola Davis, who played Michael's mother is a dark skinned black lady, be she wears black face makeup on the movie. What was that all about?

AIR is, like ARGO before, one of Ben Affleck’s films that address a historical event - in this case, Nike’s deal with a rising star known famously as Michael Jordan. The film is at its finest when you become invested with the cast and the interactions between the people who made this deal work, which is a great combination of its narrative and the performances of the cast from Matt Damon to Viola Davis to Jason Bateman and Chris Messina. You will find that it is truly a feel-good story, the underdog of athletic apparels as it works to strike the deal that defined a partnership between Nike and Basketball’s greatest player. This film is truly great and it warrants a watch, not just for its historical significance but for its story, the performances, and the honest-to-God feel-good nature of the film.As for the Blu-Ray, it’s a good addition to a collection of physical media, especially since this film was an Amazon Movie - meaning it doesn’t have a digital copy. That being said, do not let the lack of special features deter you from watching this film one way or another.

Affleck and Damon together again! Great performances by all actors and an interesting storyline from real life! Michael Jordan’s mother was a smart cookie.
