Higher build quality than I was expecting
This light is fitted in our small bedroom, replacing the only pendant light left from when we moved in to this new build house 8 years ago. I'd forgotten how badly the upstairs wiring of our house is, but onto the light!With no template included, the easiest way to create a template was to make a copy of the base of the light unit. Screws and rawlplugs are not only provided, but there's a spare of each too, and the three screw mount points are more than enough thanks to the light construction. Getting the light in place is fiddly, but I guess no more than usual, you need at least a short set of stable kitchen steps, but the over-all fitting skill level is low - though if you are not confident you should get someone competent to make the fitting. Wiring, for me at least, these were straight through connections using the included connection block. I though did secure the wires using a cable-tie rather than the using the sticky pad on the base of the connection block.Ready to test, and everything worked just fine. Final step, flex the flat cover to get it into the opening in the centre of the light. Once that flat cover is in place, removing it would be very fiddly indeed. In place and looking good, I'd mark the light down just a little for cover, but it's still closer to 5 stars than it is to 4.

Disappointed with quality
Disappointed with the quality, fitted to ceiling without issue, unfortunately the centre disc is so thin and weak it cracked on installation, this is obviously a manufacturer’s design flaw and should be addressed
