Wanted some Red Curtains for Christmas. Loved the Silver Stars on these too! Very Greatest Showman too. They’ve just been brilliant. Blackout fine. Stitching seems absolutely fine. Ok the ‘sit’ isn’t incredible - but it’s absolutely fine for the price. For the price you can’t go wrong. They look more expensive than they are. Yes I would say that the greater blackout comes from the darker colours. So be mindful of that… if that’s what you need. Star print was on one side. Which was perfect as I wanted a clear side facing outwards - to accentuate the Christmas lights. Put it this way… the other pair of curtains I had up before are from a reputable high street retailer at a similar price point. Yet I’ve kept these curtains up so far - even though they don’t really go with the decor! But the blackout is far superior and nice. The only thing is with true blackout curtains it would create a ‘black’ effect. But I guess as these curtains aren’t lined the same… then you do get a ‘red’ tinge when the light shines around the edges. I guess that will be reflective of what colour curtain you choose. Eg: blue curtains will give a blue light. If you can live with that… the blackout effect definitely holds up (on the red anyway). Late Night workers etc … it will definitely do the job for you.

Amazing curtains, block out sunlight really well and keep the warmth in/out. Colour has only just started to fade and we’ve had them up for 5 years. Very easy to put up and not very heavy at all.

Very impressed with these curtains, bought them during the heat wave to help keep the house cool of an evening by blocking out the light during the day, they worked effectively and very pleased with them, they look pretty,feel nice and silk, hang and draw smoothly which is always a bonus.
