KV 1284-3 Rear Drawer Mounting Bracket Knape and Vogt Replacement (2 Pack)

Worked perfectly! I read reviews that stated their's didn't work and 1 review said to use a hair dryer to loosen the plastic so the rail would fit. I expected to have to do that, but mine fit right in without the extra effort. My broken cabinet roll out was fixed in 5 minutes! Thank you! ❤️

The part will not work with the Knape & Vogt KV 1284 drawer slides. While the dimensions of the back opening are adequate it does not carry through the part, the front (working end) has been reinforced by the printing process or was not machined throughout the part. As such, it will not accept the slide making the bracket useless without significant modification to the part (scraping or grinding material out of the bracket to make it big enough to accommodate the slide) or to the slide (cutting or grinding metal off to make it small enough to fit the as supplied opening).

This item does replace an obsolete bracket. And it did fit the existing slide bar. But it's ridiculously expensive. The newer versions that are slightly thinner are $3.00 for a pack of two with screws to use with them. This was one piece of plastic with no mounting screws. I guess when you're the only option you can charge what you want.

Just what I ordered. Arrived on time. It was a little hard to use because the product is solid and not flimsy plastic like the original bracket was. I had 1 piece on the bracket metal bar but put on backwards. I couldn't put the metal into the bracket on the other metal bar because it was so solid. So I got a hair dryer and pointed it at the plastic piece on high heat for 30 to 45 seconds. Bracket piece easily slid onto the metal bar. The one I put on backwards expanded the plastic bracket enough to take it off and put it back on correctly. Glad I found the seller. Will buy again.

They don’t carry these anywhere locally. We have bought these brackets for two different drawers. Please don’t ever stop making them!!!
