Claber53922 8422 Aquauno Logic Programmer (Black/Orange)

I had digital Claber timer before and wasn’t a huge fan - this one is simple: it has different settings for diffferent numbers - just choose the one you need for your plants. I had to purchase separately the end to fit it on my outdoor tap as the top ‘screw head’ of the timer seemed too big for my tap. It does not leak, does not drip and I like the simplicity. Black colour blends in the background, so it’s not very visible in the garden. Good little peace of kit. I had it for few months now and no problems

There are timers that are more flexible in terms of programming. However, this one is much simpler to operate.You choose the option that works best for you and just set the dial to the appropriate number. Switch it on at the time you want watering to start and that is it. Like a Swiss watch it performs its task without fail.Best of all, it is solidly built and looks as if it will last a long time.

After reading around, I decided to buy this as opposed to a hozelock due to reliability. I recently had a new turf laid down and then went away on holiday. Sure enough it came on every day for minutes without fail and I came back to lovely green gas.I've taken one star off because I kept getting a persistent leak from the tap. I suspect it is due to the tap itself but despite plumbers tape (which helped) I still had a leak.Also its quite difficult to use as a normal tap because even when the timer is turned to off the valve is shut, so the only way to use it as a normal tap is to disconnect the whole thing.

Operates very well but would like longer durations with less frequency. Easy to set and I hope it operates over the 3 year guarantee period

Excellent product. I have two of these and my first one that I bought has lasted over 6 years and going strong continuously on tap at my holiday home in Europe.
