I never would have actually swapped the skates on my mouse, however I had the left switch in my G305 die. The skates have to be removed in order to open up the G305, so I figured it was as good a time as any to replace the skates. These skates are much better than the stock skates in my opinion. Its possible my old skates were just extremely worn down, but these skates are a night and day "glide" difference when gaming. I would recommend these to anyone with an older G304/G305 with worn down skates.
