Got these to replace the bulbs in my bug zapper.

Is it appropriate to sweat in a review? I mean, I have a long list of curse words I would love to use to describe what I think of these bulbs."Do they work?"Yes. I won't lie, 2 out of 3 did work, but haven't tried the third yet."Can you use these instead of a 20 Watt bulb?"Yes, you can, as long as the lamp socket is an E-27 screw-in socket."Are they bright?"Even though I bought these to replace a 20 Watt bulb, um, no, they were sadly dimmer than I had been expecting."How long do they last?"The first replacement bulb lasted approximately 2000 hours running 24 hours per day, 7 days a week indoors. The second bulb lasted about 1200 hours. Far, far, far, less than the "up to 3,000 hours". It's that "up to" BS that bad products use to hide behind over poor product performance.If I'm going to be fair, and I will most likely get spanked for this...If your bulbs arrive in a cardboard box, which is fine, shipped in a brown lightly padded and protected envelope, you may want to not even bother trying them to simply return them for a replacement. It's not the actual bulb that fails, but the driver circuit (aka electronic ballast).Again, to be fair, if you turn these bulbs on for only 4-6 hours a night, indoors or outdoors, you may get closer to the claimed life expectancy. The bulb mounts upside-down once installed, where the ballast is at the top, so it will degrade quicker due to heat, and any kind of physical abuse, even minor, because, basically they're cheaply mass-produced. The bulbs I received were so bad that it's cheaper for me to just buy a new bug zapper on clearance in winter, than more cheap replacement bulbs. Another on-line shopping product that doesn't even come close to its claims, or at least the bulbs I received sure as h-e-double-toothpicks don't. *sigh*

I purchased a set of three 15W Replacement Bulbs, and I am happy so far. These bulbs are compatible with Bug Zapper which I am using for my home. Installing them was a breeze, and they fit perfectly into my existing fixtures.Once turned on, the brightness of these bulbs instantly illuminates.The only issue I had was when one bulb fused immediately but the other two are working fine.Overall, I am m satisfied with the performance of these bulbs.

Purchased as a replacement and spares for the bulb that came in one of my Homesuit bug zappers. It's a slightly different color (visible) than the original, but since it's working I don't really care!

Slightly over priced though

Wish they lasted a bit longer but they fit ok.
