Excelente calidad!!
Hasta ahora, esta es mi bombilla favorita. Quizás sea porque nunca antes había usado una de alpaca, pero su calidad y diseño han superado mis expectativas.

Works okay
This is a great straw but it still lets some Yerba leaves into the straw. But the holes are too small that a straw cleaner can’t get through it. It’s a heavy duty straw though.

Great Quality & Aesthetically Pleasing
The quality is great, I did a quick clean of the bombilla (straw) with the cleaning tool it comes with and it worked great. You can easily remove the filter portion of the straw at the bottom which is great for cleaning purposes. The size is perfect for my Gourd that I purchased from Yerba Mate Lab. It’s hard to find a good bombilla on market in the US and I am so happy I found this. The filter of the straw is GREAT you do not get ANY big or small pieces when sipping your Chimarrao which makes the taste so much better. Please be sure you properly set up your Mate so you get the best results as when I first set it up I accidentally murked the water. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUY.

Unsafe to use!
The bombilla is designed well and feels quality. And I love the detachable filter. But my bombilla came with a sticky black substance on the inside that I noticed when cleaning with the included brush. I thought I had gotten all of it out, but on my first sip, I still got a STRONG chemical/metallic taste. My guess is there’s still some of that black substance in the filter itself because the included brush doesn’t reach every part of the inside of the filter. I’ve tried boiling the bombilla and that chemical taste is still there. It’s must be residue leftover from the manufacturing process. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s NOT safe to drink.
