I bought this to go to a rob zombie concert, if you want it to be closed then get a size bigger, and if you are wanting it to wear without out buckling it. Then get your normal size.

I love to customize denim, and this was a good base with a dark denim. Fits good. I like that it's a bit thinner material-wise as it is lighter feeling when you wear it.

Length is good, preferred a snugger fit overall, more of a v-shape taper to form to my physique.im 33-1/2 waist 45 in.chest.

This is not a true sleeveless jacket. The material is thin and it's more like a sleeveless shirt. Can't ask for better quality stitching and material. Fits perfect too. But if you're looking for denim jacket material, this isn't it. I'm keeping it for the simple fact it is a comfortable and great quality shirt. Just not what I was expecting. Denim jacket vests are a thicker material. This isn't something I would buy to put patches on. But if you're looking for a sleeveless button up at a great price, this is the one to order. If you're looking for a sleeveless jacket, keep looking. Only reason I'm giving it three stars is the fact it's described as a denim vest. If it were described as what it truly is, a sleeveless shirt, it would get 5 stars.

This vest kicks A$$. It fits exactly how a XL vest should fit, its light with no inserted lining (just like an old school denim jacket that you cut the sleeves off of) the vest is a stretchy denim similar to levies 541 or 502 jeans, athletic stretch, you are going to need this for when you get fatter from drinking all of the beers at the Judas Priest shows in this battle jacket, or from ones your muscles star to bulge out from arm curling the groupie babes at the Manowar show's. The cut off sleeves have a single pass stitch behind them so the fraying wont continue to unravel at the arms and up to the shoulder's so you can still be a poser, but no one will know. Plenty of room on the back to fly your colors and support your rockers. Perfect light weight summer raiding battle vest. the price is perfect, now you can save money and spend it on swords. 5 out of 5 metal horns \m/-_-\m/
