The pump is priced great, and the engine fired right up. My issues were with the water pump. Mine came with the discharge port on the same side as the exhaust. Not a big deal, swapping to to the proper side is just unbolting it from the top of the pump and turning it to the opposite side.The main issue is with the threads on the intake and discharge. The ports are threaded for NPS (National Pipe Straight) instead of the standard NPT (National Pipe Thread). The cast collars and and barbs that come with the pump are junk. I wasn’t able to get the intake side tight enough and the pump sucked air. It wouldn’t prime.I was unable to find any 3” NPS pipe adaptors to seal it better, so I had to engineer an adaptor out of a mixture of plumbing and agriculture supplies. Purchased a 3” rubber boot and a 3” pvc to female NPT threaded adaptor from my local hardware store, and a male cam lock to NPT threaded adaptor from my local farm supply store to get what I needed.I then had to heavily cover the threads on the intake side of the pump with Teflon sealant, then slide the boot over the port and clamp it down. Clamped the other end onto the pvc adapter. I then wrapped Teflon tape around the threads on the cam lock adaptor and tightened it into the pvc adaptor. Only after doing all of that and putting a female cam lock adaptor on my intake hose was I able to get the pump working. It pumps great now lol.After all was said and done I ended up paying right at $200 for the pump, and an additional $80 in parts just to get it working. I still saved a little money over getting a pump from harbor freight, but it took a lot of effort. If I had it to do again, I’d just purchase a pump from Harbor Freight.

Of course when I don’t purchase warranty the part came broken! Of course the seller won’t let you contact him since Ai does the job. I just want to but the broken part from them. Price is right and it looks sturdy. Delivery was ok but it should have been handle it better! Maybe better packaging. I can’t try the pump until I can repair it. Will give another update on it. But for now I give it a 1 star due to the fact that I can’t contact the seller.

For the price, this water pump is fantastic! It pumps efficiently and has held up well through several uses. I appreciate the lightweight design, making it easy to move around. Definitely a good investment for anyone with occasional water removal needs.
