Saucony Baby Jazz A/C Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

I have three kids.....2 boys and a girl. We have gone through a lot of sneakers over the years, including a few pairs of sauconys. My daughter is about out of her pumas, and these sauconys were cute and great price. I had got them for my boys before and no probs so ordered away. I didn't see that these were Velcro until after I got them I the mail, but thought that was an innovative way to put on shoes. my 2 year old daughter loved them, so why not? We wore them to the park for the first time....and let me tell you that you canNOT tighten them that much, and the Velcro does not stay on. No matter what I did, this poor girl kept having her shoes fall off. She took a couple of hard falls, too because of them. Amazon was fantastic.....called them up and I was able to send them back for full refund. Ordered another pair, $5 more but regular Velcro. Good concept but really....were these tested before they were sold to the public? The movement of walking makes the Velcro placement weak. One side has to be permanently affixed or, well, what happened happens. Don't buy unless you want your kid to fall flat on their face.

These shoes are great! They were more than I like to spend on toddler shoes but the majority of my toddlers clothes share these colors and so I knew I'd get a lot of use out of them. They fit well (size 6) and she can wear them all day without complaint. What I love most, which I didn't even realize when I ordered them is that they are Velcro. The tongue and laces are a flap that make it easy for my daughter to get them on and off on her own, and the bonus of that???? she feels very accomplished and beams with pride. BONUS BONUS! She'll even wear them without socks! Cute, adorable, functional shoes. So happy I found them!

Great fit and so easy. Be aware that a child with a high arch might have a hard time wearing these since the velcro moves a little when they walk. It doesn't come off but it does make noise and move a little. I love that you don't tie them, you just open the front tongue and two velcro strips on each side open up so you have a perfectly tied shoe every time.

Overall I like these shoes a lot. They fit look and the color is nice. I took off s star because after a couple of wears, one of the shoe strings (which is attached) came loose. And with continued wear, the Velcro part (which is the whole lace area) does not stay well. I do not think I would purchase the particular style again.

These are darling and easy to put on my sweet girls feet. I thought when I purchased them they were shoes to lace up and tie. The velcro doesn't always stay snug and double knotting isn't an option with velcro. She loves them though and they look great with whatever she is wearing. We just sometimes stop to fix velcro and carry on.

Buyer beware: a/c closure stands for something that means Velcro. So if you're looking for a cute easy on and off preschooler shoe that doesn't look Ike a traditional hook loop closure, this is it! But if your child was hoping to learn to tie their own shoes, this pair will not help.

the Velcro portion comes undone sometimes or it feels like it doesnt fasten as good/tight as i would like it to for a toddler shoe since the velcro is vertical on the sides vs. horizontal across the foot.

Color and size are spot on! Really nice shoes. The problem is that the shoes are not laced up. The laces are sewn to a flap that has velcro on both sides (the tongue). Because it is velcro, my daughterA. Easily takes them off in the car.B. Sometimes trips. Not often, but enough that I only use them when I know she wont be running like a maniac.I really like the shoes,
