Neat panel
I bought this solar panel to charge my lamp or headphones and it does that perfectly. I stuck it on an upstairs window that doesn’t really get the sun until mid afternoon but catches enough light to recharge what it was bought for. Doesn’t take up much room at all and saves on using electricity which is what you need in these times.

Very poor quality
Very flimsy construction, not worth a purchase.

Fairly good
Build quality is pretty good, although the 10 watts claimed is probably a bit on the optimist side.Rather than direct charging my iPad during daylight hours, I now leave a power bank connected 24/7 and use that to charge peripherals. This arrangement works.Charges a v5 iPod without problems. The instructions included advise against direct charging of peripherals

Good idea, nice design BUT
The panel is simply a great idea and my first impression was that it is a hit but:I bought this based upon the description of 10 Watt. I wanted this to power 2 small 3 inch USB fans each with 3 W power consumption for my small greenhouse just to circulate the air and hence I thought this should be ample being 10Watts. however here are my findings.1) On a very bright sunny British summer day with no clouds my panel delivered 5.2 volts and just enough power to run a small 5V small 3Watt plastic desk fan (only in full direct sun) so this thing in the description about a 10Watt power .... Think twice.2) On an average British partly sunny day the measured output was just over 2 volts which wasn't even enough to charge a phone or even run3) No off switch on the panel. My impression, either overrated and hyper inflated description or I got a bad panel. returning it for a replacement is too much trouble for me and hence its up to other users verdicts. Shame it is a good bright idea and nice design

Broke after 3 days
I wanted to love this but both of our 2 broke after a few weeks. The electric part. became detached from the solar panel on both. needs stronger glue or something. If i could have a return then id give a second batch anther try as it would be brill for hiking if it was a bit tougher

Surprisingly good for the price.
I thought this may be a bit of gimmick due to the price. I've been using it backpacking in the UK. It will charge at 10k mah battery pack in three days on an average sunny UK summer day. Doesn't sound much but it keeps my phone charged for the duration of a trip. Came a bit creased in the post but still works 100%

Sent back
Bought as an experiment but the description said you could charge direct from panel but instructions said you can't. So returned.

Does the job.
In direct autumn sunlight I'm getting about 1/2 an amp at 5v which is about right for a 10w panel with 25% efficiency, at that power it'll charge most phones within about 6 hours. I had mine connected to a power bank tho. The rear socket seems a bit cheap and the panel does flex which I'm not sure is a bad point. Good for the price, will have to wait and see on how durable it is tho.
