Update! The squeaky part was coming from the topside behind the pedal. The shock was sandwiched between two plastic pieces and being overtightened is causing it to squeak. Fixed

Does exactly as advertised, great cheap mod. Hint, don't tighten down the bolts too much or it'll squeak like crazy.

works great really improves the realism. only issue is the sound it makes. Its pretty loud and if you don't have headphone's it takes away some of the fun.

It worked well, but it is quite noisy and leaks a decent amount over time.

Product gives good resistance on throttle pedal but mine is leaking oil. The package it came in had oil residue in it and the shock was almost empty. I refilled the shock with rc car shock oil but it started leaking pretty quickly while in use. Seller, is there a rebuild kit for these shocks?

Got this today and tested it out. Super quick and easy to install (start with the lower first imo). Noise isn’t that bad but it’s there. Over my speakers at a normal volume it’s barely noticeable, headphones you won’t hear it. Resistance is just what I needed to control the gas. Update- if it get starts getting noisy, check your bolts and retighten them. After about 20 hours the upper mount bolt/nut became a bit loose creating noise. Quick tighten and it’s fine again.

This is great to get the throttle heavier but it did make noise that was annoying I ended up getting rid of the oil and washing it and filling it with wd-40 since I only wanted the spring in reality after a few hours of use it’s gotten much better sounding so if you do that it’s great

El producto está bien pero solo trae el resorte que lleva puesto, según la descripción viene con más resortes.

No idea why fanatec is so cheap that they don't put this on the pedal out the factory. Makes a big difference, bring able to hold a specific throttle spot..

Lo monte al principio muy bien el problema es que en dos días hace ruido demasiado pero cunple las necesidades del acelerador aunque aveces parece que se quede un poco clavado

Ich habe diese Feder gekauft, da mir die Standard-CSL-Pedale von Fanatec einfach nicht genug Information übermittelt haben. Zum Hintergrund: ich fahre GT7 auf PS5 und versuche derzeit mich in Vorbereitung auf den Ligabetrieb in meinem Können zu verbessern. Daher trainiere ich nun den Umgang mit Gr. 3-Fahrzeugen ohne TKS. Da das Gaspedal jedoch keinen nennenswerten Gegendruck erzeugt, drehte sich mir die Mühle ständig weg (Mercedes-AMG GT3 '20). Nach dem Einbau der Feder war dies für die ersten 5 Minuten gewöhnungsbedürftig, danach lief es total intuitiv. Bin damit direkt ein Rennen von 1 Stunde gefahren und habe mich nicht einmal gedreht, auf TKS 0. Klar, weggerutscht und ungewollte Powerdrifts, aber das ist wohl eine Gewöhnungssache. Nun habe ich einen Widerstand der mir hilft, zu fühlen wie stark ich auf den Pin trete und vor allem, das Gas zu halten und nicht direkt in den Boden zu rammen. Der Umstieg auf CSL Elite für 300 Euro war mir einfach zu teuer. Mit diesem Mod komme ich bestens klar!

Works pretty well. Added some much needed resistance on the standard accelerator pedal. A bit pricey for what it is. I wish it had the upgraded spring when I purchased as It could use a tad more resistance. It's a little noisey.
