L'Oreal Paris Bright Reveal Broad Spectrum Daily SPF 50 UV Lotion, 1.7 fl oz + Moisturizer Sample

Wife was using an older version of this lotion it was spf30 this new version is spf50 the bottle is smaller than the original one but my wife says it feels just like the older version

I purchased this $27 1 ounce+ bottle of sunscreen off Amazon after not being able to find it sold anywhere (Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.) in person. A steep price to pay but this came Dr. Dray (YouTube Board Certified Dermatologist) approved. Firstly, I noticed this pilled when applied on top of the Regenerist moisturizer sample included with this purchase. I thought that was odd that they did not seem to be compatible with one another. But the sunscreen also left a white cast no matter how much time I spent trying to blend it in. And it stung my eyes as the day wore on because anything you put on your face (makeup, serums, moisturizers, SUNSCREENS) have a tendency to slide around. I tried this sunscreen out for another two days in a row using a different moisturizer (Neutrogena) with the same white cast and pilling results. I think for someone with a lighter complexion, this product will not leave as noticeable a cast on their face as this did on mine. And maybe eliminating daytime moisturizer altogether and just wearing this alone on the face (I do NOT think this would go well with makeup at all.) would give better results. However, I’m going to use it up in the meantime but I am still searching for my holy grail for a facial sunscreen. I use Hawaiian Tropic for everywhere else.

I totally believe everyone should use sunscreen every day, at least on hands and face, but admit that I don't always do it. Plus, I wash my hands a LOT and rarely reapply sunscreen. It's just going to be washed off again soon. But I do try to put it on before mowing when your hands are right up there in the sun. This is nice sunscreen, absorbs well and isn't greasy, although it is like a moisturizer and you can definitely feel it on your face. I use L'Oreal products a lot and feel they are quality skin care and reasonably priced. They're also easily available on Amazon or even at the grocery store. That alone can make the difference as to whether you actually Have something that you will use.

This sunscreen could be great. It is moisturizing and goes on smoothly, and it's a broad spectrum SPF 50. What's not to love, right?! The scent! It is stronger than any sunscreen I have used, especially for the face. I had high hopes since L'Oreal has some really good products. But the scent needs work. I refer L'Oreal to Black Girl Sunscreen, also an SPF of 50. It has a wonderful lavender scent and zero chemical scent. I love it, despite it being a little runny. Runny is manageable. Scent is not. I hope LOreal can alter the scent on this sunscreen as it really could be a great face sunscreen.
